They purposefully put low prices for gas on the marquee, but those prices are only for cash (not debit) and for a valero card. They purposefully do not show the regular price. They are using deceptive advertising, so please avoid.

The yellow store doesn't seem like the craft beer cave I was lead to believe by some other reviews. It seems to have an alright wine selection, but the beers are all river beers and seltzers.

An hour after I left the store someone there attempted to charge $100.00 to my debit card. Luckily they got the pin # incorrect and my bank declined charge. I have made several attempts to contact store and no answer. DON'T SHOP THERE!

It's the end of a king-standing era. I don't know when it happened but The Yellow Store has has gone corporate. For about 20 years one constant in San Marcos was that you could roll up to the Yellow Store for the cheapest gas in town... and the price on the sign was 2-3 cents cheaper when you got to the pump. Went there last Tuesday... not only was it not the cheapest in town, it was 20 cents more expensive than H‑E‑B a few blocks away. First they knock down Triple Crown... then Paper Bear closes... now this. At least we can still find a legendary Bloody Mary at The Showdown.

Zero stars- HOMOPHOBIC STAFF- free give away if you're female. . Exceptionally rude guy who took it upon himself to call me "Bro" after he rolled his eyes and interrupted me while I was asking for a specific item they have carried for the last few years. Immediately shut down the sale and any type of business me or my friends will ever give that place. HIRE BETTER PEOPLE not someone who's indignant, ignorant of others, and quite rude and way too quick to be sarcastic.. that's not something I'd look for in hiring someone to run your store. ****He also was seen giving away free samples of the CBD cartridges to some females. Gross. He may be young and inexperienced but that's why he should be working a different job. He was giving off a creepy vibe the whole time and you can tell his hair is unwashed and full of secrets. DONT GO HERE. Unfortunate. Just a matter of time before it's a STRIPES OR 7-11. Lmk when!

I usually like going here because they have cool products and they're gas is cheap but they sell FAKE PUFF BARS. This is extremely toxic and when i tried to call them and ask if they knew they were doing this they pretending the phone was breaking up. nice employees but the owner is a greedy man that doesn't care who he endangers.
