Oh my gosh, I placed my first mail order with Talbots around Christmas to have nice clothes for a trip to England. I ordered petites and I guess I’m not petite. I ordered so many clothes that trying to return them back by mail was overwhelming. The girls at the outlet mail were very accommodating. After a call, they said to bring it all into them and they would take care of it. They took care of it all while I shopped for the right sizes. Go team Talbot. Great customer service. Thank so much!!!

I use to work at the Banana and I quit because going to an outlet is supposed to be fun and I didn't want to work retail anymore. Now that I don't work their I enjoy going (minus all the tourist). I would always ask myself "wtf is so good about this place" cause there are so many tourist from all over the US and world, but trust me now I know it's because these are 100% the best deals you will find in the entire US from first hand stores. I've been to stores and outlets all over the country, and no stores compare to these prices(not exaggerating).

This is an outlet mall, just like most other outlet malls, except HUGE! One thing that I noticed is that the prices weren't as discounted as I would have expected. I prefer the better discounts at Marshalls. Ladies, don't wear your heels here, there is simply too much walking. And, bring water. When I checked in on Yelp, I was given a $5.00 discount, redeemable at any store, but available only at Guest Services. I never could locate Guest Services, and I suppose I would have had to drive there, being told by a shopkeeper that it was at the other end. Don't forget water! And, don't make this a destination in Hot August!

Overall, the range of stores here was INCREDIBLE! We spent an entire afternoon going into multiple stores. I have to say that our best experience was in the Prada store. Initially, I was apprehensive to go into this store because I was intimidated, but the staff here was SO nice. They were very helpful and made us feel so welcome there! I will say that I was disappointed in many of the stores because the sales were not great. I guess I should have seen that coming, but I wanted more bargains and sales in the stores!

Thought this place was really good. Lots of high end places that I've heard of and lots that I haven't. We walked around this entire place and needless to say, it's huge. It's A LOT of walking! Was a very clean place and several places to eat at as well if you get hungry shopping. Good go to place if you need something to do while in San Marcos.

Really cool place! Convenient and not too pricey. Has most of the stores I love to visit and buy from.

Great shopping, lots of parking, food options, tons of stores, and plenty of security. I enjoyed my girls' trip immensely simply because of this shopping experience.

On our way from Fredericksburg Texas to Austin we stopped in at the San Marcos Outlet Mall in San Marcos. Supposedly this is the largest outlet mall in the USA. We were here a few years ago when they were just finishing construction. The place is humongous. It is very quality built in a classic Spanish Style. Everything you could imagine, every type of store you could imagine is here. It was great fun to wander and do some shopping. Parking is very easy. If you do a check in while you're there you get a five dollar coupon to use. Restrooms are plentiful and clean.

This place has EVERYTHING and most stores have AMAZING deals. I can't believe I've never been here before. I only had a limited amount of time but next time I go, I'll be sure to plan for an entire day.

This store is so nice. Everything is organized really well and some employee named Brianna was so sweet to us even though she was about to close. Definitely would come back.

This is the largest outlet I've ever visited. There's over 120 stores but the food court is dismal. Most of the places didn't look appetizing. The lady at the visitors office told us there is a Johnny Rocket next to Starbucks. The parking lot is large but I couldn't believe how many cars were already there when we arrived in the afternoon. We didn't find anything we wanted or needed at the stores we visited, Nike, Coach, North Face, Asics, Banana Republic Factory Store, Sperry. We were so tired and couldn't cover the entire outlet as it was so big. There are higher end stores further away like Prada, Gucci, Carolina Herrera and Jimmy Choo.

It can easily take half a day to visit most stores. 4-stars for the stores...definitely better than most at Tanger Outlets across the street. 0-star for the terrible food court. Management should just remodel the whole thing.

This outlet center is most definitely the best in Texas. Comparing to the premium outlets in California even , I would say that this location should also take the win. It has a huge parking lot which is always a plus when you have to consider the long drive of getting there. Unlike most outlets, this one has high end brands which most certainly make them more preferable to others. If you are lucky enough to have insiders each of your favorite stores, they can even text you their specials and give you insight into when their best sales are. Hint: IT IS NOT Black Friday or after Christmas. Sometimes the best deals I have scored have been randomly throughout the year or even before the big sale days. One reason being, the stores know they will sell no matter what on those big days, so they typically remarket the sale so you end up getting better deals at the time of their choosing. The sad part about this location is that Escada closed whereas in Cali they just reopened. Otherwise here, in comparison to the CALI location, you have a Victoria's Secret which is something I've never seen in outlets elsewhere. The walking ground is a lot and it's very exhausting, so I would definitely recommend you get their SIMON app. Sign up for their emails and you'll get free passport books every time. The customer service at this location throws in some great offers from time to time (spend x to get something) but it seems that they never honor those. I had been one of the first to satisfy their giveaway requirements (they're on a First come first serve basis) but nevertheless they always have an excuse of, we ran out of supplies. Or they simply say that they never got them in the first place. First come first serve basis) but nevertheless they always have an excuse of, we ran out of supplies. Or they simply say that they never got them in the first place despite their emails and confirmations. the range of stores here is amazing and they offer things for everyone. Whether you go for the average brands like tommy or the higher brands like Gucci, Prada, Versace , this is your place to be! VISITING WITH BABIES/kids: the bathrooms do have changing tables but only the restroom inside the customer service building ( food court) has a nursing room!
