I highly recommend Special Occasions! Mr.De Leon was Awesome! He knew exactly what my son needed for his Senior Prom and he helped the entire experience be such a Wonderful Memory for me and my son! Thank you so Much! We will be back for the next Big Event!!!

Very friendly staff and they did an excellent job fitting me with a tux that fit more like a custom piece instead of a rental. Price was less expensive when compared to other shops in Austin. Got fitted on a Tuesday, picked up Thursday morning and didn't have to return it until Monday by closing. Overall a great experience and will definitely do business again!

Brought a blazer and a linen suit in for alterations (sleeves, tapering, etc). Service was friendly, consultative and on time. Happy with the results, and would recommend.

Hands down the best place to rent a tux or suit. They truly take the time to make sure it fits properly and so easy to work with. Thank you to always taking care of my son. He’s got those extra long legs and thick thighs. We appreciate it!

Do NOT bring your Bridal Gown Here!I usually don’t give bad reviews as I just tend to let things go and move on. However, I feel you need to know why to avoid this place for bridal alterations. My daughter’s wedding is May 12, 2023. Called in March to see how long was needed for a bridal alteration. The lady replied with 2wks.Took the dress first part of April to be altered. The dress was two sizes too big and just needed to be taken in and one layer of toole to be removed, and hemmed up. Daughter puts it on and lady pins it up. Then marks the hem with chalk where it needs to be hemmed up. Does not pin. Daughter takes it off and pays for half the alterations. On pick up day daughter opens the bag and sees that dress is not right, but tries it on. It’s now too small. Straps are falling off the shoulders and under the armpits are digging in. The hem is too high on one side vs the other. We are now two weeks from wedding. Lady sees it’s wrong and suggests she get a new dress. And insist that the shoulder’s are suppose to fall. Lady says she will have to cut the back to fix the issues. Daughter leaves the dress there and calls me crying in panic mode. I calmed her down and contacted bridal shop we bought the dress from in Chicago. Asked us to pick up the dress as it was not done correctly. Come to find out this lady had only folded the material in the middle inseam and sewed over. No material had been cut except the hem thankfully. However, my husband then Called to see about a refund as she had messed up a $1500 dress. Lady at this establishment got Belligerent accusing my daughter of wanting a total reconstruction of a dress she once loved. Refused any kind of refund. I guess you get what you pay for. Just because something is super reasonable don’t mean it’s always worth it. I wished that she would have been honest after seeing the dress and said this was out of her wheelhouse.

Absolute best place in San Marcos to get your clothes tailored. They hemmed three of my dress pants perfectly and were very friendly about the process. 11/10 recommend ??

My son was invited to prom less than a week before the day! I was so worried that we weren't going to be able to find a place that would have enough inventory for him m, especially because my son is very specific with his style. I live really close to Special Occasions and never believed that store would have sooooo much variety, so much inventory, and everyone there was knowledgeable about the latest cuts, lengths of cuff, and other stuff my son and husband are really picky about. Everyone that worked there was helpful and patient, regardless of the 10 people in line still and only 20 mins till closing. They made me feel like it was a personal viewing and all that was missing was the champagne ! And ladies if u need something, stop there first!!!!! The dresses there were BEAUTIFULLY made and I am definitely going there for a wedding this fall!!! I love them and once again am so proud of our town and it's amazing Mom and Pop shops that are going strong and

Incredible place. Run by 2 amazing people who were able to help me when Men’s Wearhouse failed my order 4 days before my formal/ball. They sized me for a basic tux and had it perfected the morning of my event. Extremely pleasant service and exceeded my expectations

A HUGE THANK YOU To this Business for helping my Son get his Tux for Prom. We called the week of to see if they could fit us in and we were able to get him out of class early and make it in time to have it ready by Saturday Morning. They are awesome and I know any other events we will go to them. We will try not to do so last minute this time :) Appreciate Yall!!!

These folks know what they're doing when it comes to "special occasions" and such. From the initial phone call to the time I turned in the garments, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to do business with. The quality of the clothing was very nice, and I also liked that they do everything in-house - nothing is sent out to be modified whatsoever.
