I wish I can give zero stars, the meat is a fraud, it is all old and frozen a thousand times, the vegetables are also the same and to make matters worse everything is very expensive, one day I met one of the managers (the old with medium white hair, Chinese who is tight) I found him at Walmart buying cans of beans, it made me laugh, they give everything very expensive apart from all the customer service is terrible, the cashiers always with cheeks and that Cheli with teeth like a rabbit, just critical of very mocking people! Finally, I needed to say that I am happy that POCO LOCO is now open HERE IN SAN MARCOS EVERYTHING IS OF BETTER QUALITY AND CHEAPER!

The bacon at the butcher shop used to be nice and thick but now it's paper thin, almost transparent. Other than that not much has changed still pretty nice place to go

This market tried to steal $50 from me after charging me for two extra items unrelated to anything in my cart. When confronted, they made me bring all groceries in and check every item. Surprise! The last two items were not in our cart. I believe they were flowers conveniently positioned right next to the cashier, but the cashier would not tell us what these two extra items were.We paid with card and they refused to issue us a refund via card and instead gave us cash.Based on the interactions, I do not believe this was a mistake. It was clearly intentional.

Typically purchase Milagro masa & Chile Mulato only here. I'm not a fan of the meat section nor produce section.The customer service provided by the cashier staff is horrible. They don't even acknowledge your presence and speak to each other while cashing you out. We did encounter a staff member who offered assistance while searching for items that were helpful.

This place is slowly going down, is almost a dump now; a) the new taco section is very limited in options and meat is dry and tough; b) the grocery section is way overpriced- a pound of bananas is 98 cents!; c) the manager guy is rude and will try to scam you by not returning proper change, has happened several times.

From SOCAL looking for great Mexican food and was recommended QC Meat Market. The food was great with tortillas just like the ones we love vice normal thick ones you get every else. Look no further for great street tacos!

the new restaurant in the back is horrible. less options, different people, paper menus, beware 6 tacos for $13.99 is trash, just go somewhere else. it's not the same. it's different in a bad way, we walked out.✌

What happened to this place? Got lunch today and it has gone from great to terrible. I got the street tacos and they were chewy and greasy.

So far it's as expected for a Mexican store. Whatever you need is here. Come get all your Mexican dish ingredients. The prices are not so walmart or heb comparable but you get what you need here.
