It's still pricey, but well, it's Pottery Barn. You might find good deals. You just need to be patient. The place is huge, so it might be overwhelming if you are not searching for something specific.

I think almost everything is used ( like someone picked them up from curbside) , and price tags are like a joke. Window front items look normal, but when you pass a couple of aisles, you see the reality. I can not believe that people buy things from this store location. Do not waste your time checking anything.

Pretty big outlet, good prices. Not sure what most of these reviews are so harsh about. It's an outlet and its a big one with good pricing at that. Staff was rude when i asked to set glass globes at the front counters and bathrooms left paper towels to be desired but if you're considering driving out here from Austin for good pricing, don't let the other reviews sway you from coming here.

This place used to be great, and it has really gone downhill. Deceptive signs on prices, breaking all kinds of laws selling expired food; unhealpful unhappy, people working there...

For the most part, I like this place. You can find some diamonds in the rough, but it just has to be the right day.
However, on this particular day, I came specifically to find some dinnerware. I was about to check out with a few things, but stopped to ask an employee which dinnerware pieces wouldn’t get too hot in the microwave. She gave me an incredibly condescending & begrudging answer, and couldn’t even put a smile on her face. I left my cart full of stuff there at the doors, got my car, and just left. Beware of the middle-aged plus-sized woman with gapped teeth.

I have found many great deals, some are not. You have to take the time to dig. But if you know Pottery Barn items, you can figure out what's in the boxes

Buyers beware. I know this is a liquidation store and all sales are final. however, I do expect the item you purchase to be labeled correctly. I visited the San Marcos location a week ago and I found a set of king bed sheets in the clearance section. There was a sign indicating packages could not be opened. When I looked the package the label indicated there were two king pillowcases, a fitted sheet and a flat sheet. This set, even on clearance, was very expensive. $100.When I got back home, I opened the package to wash the sheets. As I unpacked the sheets, I discovered the fitted sheet was missing! I called the store and their response was…that is why it was on clearance. My point to them was, this item was falsely labeled. Nothing. Pretty much a SOL from the store employee. Be warned…the merchandise in this place is falsely advertised. My last time going here.

This place is a colossal mess, i think they need new management. I’ve been to the arlington pottery barn and it’s so organized and they have furniture lined up neatly and it’s accessible! this place has sofas that are so cramped that you can’t view it properly, the furniture that comes in is almost always damaged bc of their mishandling (they stack it like it’s a hazard). It seems like there’s minimal turnover for furniture here, i believe their business motto is to hoard stuff and not actually sell it lol bc some employees aren’t helpful in getting rid of inventory.

This is my favorite furniture store. I’ve shopped here many times over the years - pretty much all furniture of our new house came from here. They have a huge selection, easily 3-5x most other brand name outlet stores I’ve been to, so I can usually find what I need, especially when they are fully stocked in preparation for a holiday. From staff to manager, everyone I’ve encountered was very friendly. In the rare incidence where I noticed a pricing error in a chair I purchased, the manager fixed it for me right away (thank you Brett). For anyone who likes quality furniture, is a fan of rustic modern style, and don’t mind minor imperfections, I would 10/10 recommend.
P.S. if you shop furniture often, I highly recommend checking out their instagram @potterybarn_sanmarcostx. They post new inventory there regularly.

I found curtains on -70% off displays .At the counter as they had 2 different packaging l asked if they were the same. They were but the price on 2 was different the clerk did not want, although she recognized two items were the same, and applied the same price for both of them. She refused .After a conversation with a manager that is truly rude and obnoxious they applied 40% off not 70% and they have the same price for both curtains .I came out with very nice curtains but with a very bad impression about personnel.

How much does a discounted plate really cost? Wanna guess? 35 dollars. What a joke.
