I purchased superworms and crickets & didn't have any issues with them being dead upon arrival. I do appreciate them having small quantities of crickets already bagged now because it's hard to catch someone actually working in that department.

I've had my dog groomed here twice, and each time the groomer Dante has forgotten to perform a service in which I paid for. The first time, she clipped my dog's nails and did not grind them. On top of that, she forgot to put a bandana on her (all of which I pay extra for). The second time, she forgot to clean my dog's ears, which is a basic task for a bath... Then of course I have to bring her back in for them to do something they should have to begin with. I hate that I have to thoroughly check my dog every service to make sure they do everything that I pay for. Lone story short, I would NOT recommend getting your dog groomed here.

Worst PetSmart ever...cashier was smug and dismissive. Nobody ANYWHERE to answer questions...just horrible. I will never set foot in that store again. Based on all of the negative reviews, this place better clean house or it will definitely go under. That is a shame. I loved PetsMart in Virginia...this was just not good. Got the stink eye from the cashier because I had my puppy with me. Last time I checked, you can bring your dogs IN TO PETSMART. Ridiculous. Clearly she did not want to be there.

I was a first time buyer for lizards and came here hoping to get one. The lady was sooo condescending and told us,” do you know anything about lizards because you clearly dont”. It was a first and she had such a horrible attitude. I didnt say anything back to her i just left the store but what is the employees problem?? Such an attitude for no reason.

The employee was helpful as he could be. We went for a cone for our dog. The sizes weren't perfect, but did it's job.

I used to work for petsmart and this is the worst petsmart I have ever been to. The manager was unmotivated to help people or call for back up when it came to the cashiers. That's why I am rating this 1 star , do better .

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a petsmart. I called the store 10 minutes before I left and they said there were not any pickup orders. So I placed my purchase and headed to the store since they didn't seem busy and they were closing in an hour. The manager ridiculed me and told me they got my order one minute ago so I should have waited. The print out receipt showed what time I ordered it, idk why should would even lie ab that. I only got one box of cbd treats for my senior kitty because she has cancer and was having a painful flare up with her symptoms so I was in a rush to get back to her. The manager took her sweet time grabbing the treats even though I said I could grab them myself (the store was empty btw, they weren't even busy). I was amazed she still had attitude towards me even after she got the treats. She mentioned to me I should have waited three hours?? (They would be closed) As a pet parent, I am disgusted by this behavior, I didn't need any added stress. This should have been a quick & simple transaction, I cannot believe she is allowed to be a manager here! The employees and our fur babies deserve better.

Me and this dude made eye contact as soon as I walked in and I could feel his love and goodness. I never pet/interact with a dog without asking but I had to pet this guy. I don't even know his name but he was full of kisses and tail wags. He's gonna be a great dog.P. S. This place has superworms.

The store is very clean and well stocked. Employees are friendly and willing to help you if needed. I was greeted when walked in and thanked as I left making me feel like a valued customer. Customer Service is hard to find now a days. So when you are treated with respect you deserve as a patron be sure to remember they deserve the same respect. Make someone's day with a smile and a thank you back it will make a difference.

I live 30 minutes away in Wimberley and after prematurely changing my African dwarf frogs into a new tank and water without waiting, my frogs started acting funny. Long story short, I was worried something was wrong and they closed in 30 minutes and the store manager offered to stay and wait for us to get there to try to help us get something to save our fish. The staff members who stayed were so kind, patient, and helpful. By no means annoyed the store closed 5 minutes before I arrived. I couldn’t be more thankful for their time and help.

0⭐️ for customer serviceI was interested in shopping at the San Marcos location for my dogs food. They need Purina Pro Plan Joint Mobility which is a prescription. I usually get it through Chewy so i thought i would give them a call. On the recording it says they are currently not doing any stock checks, i get that! I still want to know if you even carry my dogs food before i drive all the way there. I was told by Charles he can’t do a stock check. Why even have a phone number then? I just want to know if i have the option to get my dogs prescription food as this is not offered everywhere. Great way to lose business PetSmart.
