Always a great selection and a wonderful staff. The staff is patient and always willing to go the extra mile by showing you absolutely everything without getting impatient.Overall the company is great, but I'm a little disappointed in the selection on 2023, it seems they just have restyled previous designs. But that won't stop me from stopping in and taking a look

I recently purchased a Movado watch at the Movado Company Store at the outlet stores in San Marcos. This is my third Movado watch (the two previous watches were purchased at a local Zales store). I was looking for a watch with a blue face as I already had black and grey watches and I like to coordinate my watch with what I am wearing. I found a watch I liked and decided to purchase it. We went through the process of signing up for all the discounts and finished the transaction. At the time, I did not put any thought to this, but looking back, I now know what happened with my watch. After deciding on which watch to get, the salesperson was digging through the cabinets under the display case for a box, or so I thought. I did not see the watch again at that point as she kept the box (with the watch I thought I looked at in it) behind the counter while we were completing the transaction. She went through her speech that there are no returns etc., we finished the transaction, and at this point she handed me the bag with the box and watch in it. We then left and made our six-hour drive home. Fast forward a week and a half and I went to get the watch out of the box for the first time to wear it. I open the box and find that I clearly was given a used watch. The watch face is scratched and the band where it clasps (what would be on the bottom part of your wrist against a counter or other object) was very scratched as if it had been worn for a long time.Apparently, what happened is the salesperson did a switcheroo with the watch I looked at and a clearly used/damaged watch they had in the store. I did not know this store sold used watches and I was never told I would be getting a used watch. This explains how they can have so many discounts on the watch compared to a new watch. Another indicator that the watch was switched is that the one I looked at in the store was working and displayed the correct date and time. The watch I received had the crown pulled out and the date was a few days off and the stopped time was not even close to the time we were in the store. I should have known better, but I thought Movado was a better company than this. I am very disappointed that this is the type of company Movado is and this is how they practice business. Since we are six hours away, I am not going to be able to get back any time soon to do anything about it, but if this is how they practice business, I feel it would be a wasted trip anyway.Showing a customer a new undamaged item, then switching it to a damaged used item without telling them is such bad business and, honestly, shows poor quality of people and company. I regret ever stepping foot in this store and will let everyone I know to avoid this store and these deceptive business practices at all costs. Furthermore, I will never buy another Movado watch again as I can no longer support a company that conducts their business this way.If you are reading this review, please stay away from this store and this company.Google is not letting me upload pictures, so i cannot show the watch, however, iu have placed photos on other well known review sites. Please go there if you would like to see the photos and proof of what I am stating above.

Terrible customer service, they do not solve problems with the watches that they themselves sell you are defective without your knowledge. And they block the customer very badly when he makes a claim for the defect of the watch.
It is not a trustworthy store.
If you need a good watch go somewhere else.

Be careful don’t get scammed at this Movado store in San Marcos, TX. A $2K dollar watch, that was purchased recently and just worn one time was defective from manufacturer when purchased (without us knowing). It says water resistant with (50m). The watch got wet and immediately broke. Tyler the sales guy said if something happens to the watch there is warranty on it and you can bring it back and they will exchange it for another one worth the same price. We visited the store and the manager said sorry there is nothing we can do and we can not exchange it. You have to repair it yourself, and figure it out yourself. She started screaming at us and kicked us out of the store. She even called security. The other ignorant sales girl that was at the store without knowing what happened started screaming at us as well and threatened us saying she was going to call security (which she did). What a “great” customer service and representation of the brand !!!!!! Don’t get yourself scammed by this people and store that sells broken watches.

Do not buy anything if they don’t have it in the store!! If they say to you that you will have it deliver with in 2 to 3 days is a lie!! Is been 3 weeks since the delivery date we got and 3 weeks after, there is no watch. They told my wife there is no re found, well a re found is when you want to return something, in this case there is no thing!!! Some one is scamming. FedEx don’t know where the watch is and this store keep saying they can’t do anything about it..
