Lowe’s of San Marcos has extremely poor delivery service. They scheduled a delivery for a specific morning (3 days in advance), so I hired a crew of 6 people to complete a job the day that was set by them for the delivery. When that morning came I received a call saying that there delivery truck was full and there was no more room for my order, and that they were going to have to push my order back to the next Monday. They gave me no prior notice that my delivery was being changed, so I ended up losing out on my crews fee for the day. San Marcos Lowe’s delivery does not plan there deliveries well. Definitely not reliable.

Went to pick up stuff they lost one of my items took awhile to get it ready then they gave it to someone else. Recieved an email saying it was picked up but we didnt and now they won't awnser the phone so I can see what happend and who picked it up. What happend to my items. Don't give other people someone's order with out checking ID. On the phone for 30 min and no one awnsered the phone I guess no one is working.

This is only for the appliance dept.
I have never dealt with a more incompetent sale team than the one at Kyle Lowes.
One of them, only (under NO circumstances) recommends American made appliances regardless of what the customer is inquiring about.
The other one has no basic knowledge of how ovens are installed to answer basic questions. Also, when she was asked what appliance she would feel more confident in buying she replied, well I cam only afford these lesser expensive ones so I would only get to choose one of these.. Completely misses the customers point which would be, what are the best, most reliable and the one you'd have confidence in buying..
Went to Costco far better and less expensive expense

I generally buy my compost and some other gardening supplies at Lowe's. I have recently discovered a price difference between the Lowe's closest to me. Black Kow compost is 6.48 @ the Kyle store while it is 7.08 at the San Marcos store. Not a biggie but a little aggravating.

I use Lowes in Bee Cave because the San Marcos Lowes PRO dept is absolutely horrible. They turn down business because they are lazy and don’t want to work. They sit in chairs and talk to each other instead of being productive. I spend 6 figures at Lowes every year and WILL NOT buy from this store anymore. The delivery driver that drives for this store (it’s a third party company but always the same driver), John, has an attitude. If you’re a large buyer in San Marcos, seriously go somewhere else like Bee Cave and open your eyes to how a pro dept should be ran. What a joke!!

Nice selection of plants in garden section. Usually a decent selection of clearance plants that are still alive & healthy, which are 40-75 percent off.

Randy in appliances was extremely helpful and went the extra miles for us to get exactly what we needed. Carl helped us out too and the appliances manager topped it off when we ran into a small issue.

Stopped by to look at treated lumber. Was met by Kevin who was helpful, polite, & professional. Although he was busy, he took the time to help me & said if I needed anything, he’d be back in a few minutes. Came back & helped me with my purchase. What’s the big deal? I usually go to competitor due to lack of help. Kevin will cause me to come back & give them another try. Excellent customer service!

Today Wednesday May the 1st 7:45 p.m I try to purchase a camera but couldn't get any assistance I saw a bunch of employees walking around I went to customer service a Girl by the name Ariel was working the front desk. Ask if I could get assistance nobody came to assist me. I went back to ask her if there's any issues with getting assistance because I was trying to purchase a camera. She told me somebody was assigned specifically to that department. She look clueless and couldn't give me a a reason as it wasn't her concern. All she could say was that she was sorry

I've generally not had great experiences at this lowes. Recently, I called in looking for a truck rental and was told that none of their inspection stickers are valid, so they can't rent any out. Seems like a pretty easy fix to me.

This is what I posted on Facebook. I was at Lowes in San Marcos yesterday. I was in the nut and bolt isle with bolts in my hand. This young female associate asked me to exit the isle because they are closing it off so on the next isle they can get an item off the top shelf. I asked her why do I need to leave since I’m shopping in this isle. I asked her if she was assisting another customer. I also asked her what made the other customer more important than other customers. I said, I’m shopping and why can’t I finish? I was asked to leave the isle. Am I wrong in thinking that it’s unprofessional or even rude to stop a customer from shopping to take care of another. Why can’t they wait for me to finish? They could of asked how much longer I would be. I was not the only customer in that isle. We all had to leave. Am I wrong?

Honestly I’ve been coming to this Lowes for years and never had a problem. I don’t think this is an issue with this store so much as Lowes corporate.
Today I went to take advantage of the Bosch “Buy a bare tool, get a free battery” deal. Only the find out, despite two large signs above the Bosch tools that say exactly what I quoted, not ALL bare tools come with a battery. In very fine print at the bottom of the sign is a list of item numbers.
This is scummy, purposely misleading marketing and signage. Change the wording on your signs or honor the deal you have posted.
