HEB pharmacy is the worst!! They tell you to set up their online crap and none of my info is there like they said it should be so I can't/won't use their website then they charge $7.95 to deliver each of my scripts x 5. I'm a disabled lady who doesn't own a car. I shouldn't have to jump through they're hoops to survive and that's exactly what they are doin, holding my survival in their hands and that's crying shame

No, just no. I love HEB in general but both of the San Marcos HEBs are substandard to say the least. Not clean, produce is sketchy at best. Stock is not rotated. I have shopped HEB for 30 years. I now drive to New Braunsfels to shop. A little out of the way but well worth the drive.

It was an experience finding where products had been moved to. Great experience.

Once again, eating my breakfast in the coffee shop, two employees sit right in front of me and stare at me until I leave.. I guess I'm going to report these people to the manager. It's disgusting they way they target people on their break.

My family and I shop at the store because it's easy to get in and out of and the pharmacy is exceptional. On the other hand many many items in the store are expired. Make sure you check the date before you purchase. With food being so expensive it's not acceptable for it to be expired ever especially now. The meat department is not good either. I don't know how many times I've had to point out to employees that milk items are expired. I purchased steaks for the first time in a long time not even 24 hours later they were dark brown on the outside and had a foul odor had to throw them out. I would not purchase your meat here it is not fresh. I purchased it the day before the sell-by date. They were clearly older than that. Purchase 1/23/24 were already bad on 1/24/24. $20 steaks should last longer then than that very disappointing. When you walk in the doors they have a aisle of healthy chip/snack items. They have been filthy dirty covered in hairs/lint for at least 4 months now it looks like a drink has spilled and splashed up onto them. I told have told employees several times they don't even care to clean it up and still have not. So we have to go to the other store to purchase those pricy chip items.

First: my low review is not for anyone that works here as a cashier or floor , they are all lovely ; it’s for whoever is in in-charge over the supply, inventory, and ordering for this location — likely something blocked by senior management. This location is always out of essentials. So far there have been days where I’ve seen little to no milk, water, coffee, broth, salad greens, popcorn, and more. Almost every week something is completely out of stock and it really gives somewhat of an apocalypse vibe. It’s just not possible to be out of those commodity items. The location does not cater to the demand of the area, the historic neighborhood, the university, south San Marcos, wimberly …. We are being under-served.Lastly, there are almost no organic or healthy options available. The store seems to focus on chips, lunch meat, and white bread. Where’s the sourdough , the arugula, the seasonal fruits and veggies? Have to go to Austin or San Antonio to get anything good.I believe in you HEB! Make a difference!

I love this little heb. I walk to it from my apartment. We need more little hebs that are walking distance like this. This and little target are ideal for college kids. You don't need a car to come here.

This store is convenient and I prefer it over the bigger and poorly organized HEB down the road. My only qualm with this HEB is that it does not provide hand baskets for some reason. Most of the time I'm stuck with a shopping cart when I just need 5 jars of pasta sauce. It's frustrating. Please provide hand baskets like every other HEB does. It's a waste to have a location this conveniently sized and not have hand baskets.

I want to thank and express my gratitude and recognition to Noah and his two coworkers, whose names I did not remember. One bagged our food, and the other young man was in the main office in front of the cash registers. My wife lost her phone and, after vainly looking in several places, we came back to HEB /200 West Hopkins. Fortunately, these three kind and honest young men secured it. Thanks to you we recovered her phone. My recognition and deep gratitude. May God bless everyday of your lives.
