First this place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I decided to come here on a whim and so glad I did! Their Hawaiian sushi is amazing! Who knew pineapple is sushi tasted so good! Definitely coming back!

Best sushi I've had in a while. My friend and I went in there and had the best time at the sushi bar. They made up some rolls for us off the menu and they were divine!!

We've gone quite a few times and feel it's progressively gone down hill. It's not terrible but it's nowhere near as delicious as it was when they first opened up. I think it's a missed chance because they have the potential to be a top contender. Then again, their price is high too. It hit us today when our friend group discussed dinner and everyone voted against A-Tan tor the first time ever. I don't think we will be back for a while but we hope they can get it back to where it used to be!

This place was super good. Food extremely fresh and filling. Only thing I didn't like was the hunk of avocado in the spicy tuna rolls.

Each time we come into San Marcos, we eat at A Tan! The food is fresh and always tasty. Customer Service is excellent. If you love good food, you must try A-Tan next time you are in San Marcos.

My girlfriend and I have not had a bad dish here. We will travel from Austin and San Antonio for their fresh sushi. Not to mention, their wagyu dishes are all phenomenal. This last time we went we had a waitress named Angel whom provided top notch service. 10/10!

This is a small, clean bistro... very Japanese. The food was very tasty and fresh as well as plentiful. I had the geisha bento box and my husband had the sushi lunch...we were both very pleased. My husband eats a lot and was full. Nice presentation. Extensive cocktail and wine menu. The only negative if you have to have one... there is limited parking and please, get rid of the fake plants outside!

Excellent food and excellent service. The Miso soup was delicious along with the rest of my Bento Box. Beef teriyaki was great as well.

I'll start of by saying the service was great! The hostess and server were very polite and professional. We started off with 1 miso soup which was served luke warm, we were not impressed. We ordered a teriyaki chicken off the kids meal for our daughter, it was okay, nothing to brag about, plus it also was warm almost cold. We ordered pork belly yakitori, it was slightly overcooked and too charred. We ordered the Memphis Roll and a Centipede Roll, again they were good but nothing fantastic. I see a lot of potential here, but hopefully the quality can improve to match the price.
