This hospital sucks I don't recommend anyone this hospital I took my wife in over a million time and they couldn't find out wat was wrong with her and i took her in to Seton medical center in Kyle and they diagnosed her with bronchidus

If a zero star was possible, it would get a zero star. I’m not sure why this place is not shut down yet. The only good thing about the San Marcos hospital is the women’s center other than that this place is horrible. They could care less about your well-being they always take your line they give you no medication and they let you leave there in discomfort and when you call back all they do is hang up on you multiple times, they don’t know how to deal with anybody or any kind of people make you leave there in excruciating pain. This place is absolutely ridiculous and it either needs to have a complete change or just needs to shut down.

Brought my son into this ER and he was having a panic attack his body was cramping making it hard for him to talk or to stay still due to his muscles twitching. People that go through this know exactly what it feels like and know how hard it is to function while experiencing it. One of the nurses came in to run a test for his heart only to get annoyed and frustrated because my son couldn’t stop moving no matter how hard he tried. She just told him once he stops moving she would run the test and used a very rude tone. Once she walks out we can hear the staff laughing and talking about it. She never came back into the room which was a good thing because I was ready to give her a piece of my mind about how she was being towards my son. I should’ve read the reviews before coming to this hospital never again will I come to this place. Don’t waste ur time go somewhere else.

healthcare professionals shouldn’t be making comments on whether a certain situation is life threatening if they didn’t even bother to do tests or anything! Very disappointed that this is the hospital our kids have to deal with when living in San Marcos!

This place is run by doctors and nurses that know nothing, they don’t even try to treat and give a false diagnosis and don’t seem to care. Front desk always has an attitude and owner says the same thing to every bad review but won’t fix it. This place isn’t safe don’t come here

What is wrong with people and also the hospital system!!! My son was brought into hospital today by EMS with know heart issues . The EMS evaluated him and made the decision he needed to go in because with Afib your at high risk for a stroke . My son is young and so he’s always overlooked for his heart issues but when your brought in it’s for a reason and that’s for the hospital to do their job to make sure he not only is safe but also comfortable. They made him wait in waiting room when they weren’t even full and then stated ok your approved to come in now !? What ?!!? He came in my ambulance; of course he’s approved . Once they got him back he wasn’t even put on a monitor of any sort nor given iv fluids and then completely ignored for 4 hours . He was told they didn’t think he had any heart issues and made him feel like he was lying or faking something so serious . They also made it clear they only help people if they are dying !!! Unbelievable! After only offering Torodol with no explanation; they then sent him on his way. Basically good luck and don’t come back unless your dying and maybe by that point even dead. We also watched the patient next to us suffer extremely. How sad and just pathetic the way it’s all run.

If I could give this place zero stars I would ! My daughter 5 months pregnant was here for 3 days abdominal pain and vomiting, they did nothing for her and sent her home yesterday 3 am she is back in hospital but thankfully when she made it to kyle hospital her doctor had her transported to St David's on 32nd street, and are doing her good !! Stay away from this hospital ! All they kept saying was there was nothing could do ???!!!! Now my daughter has nausea meds , pain meds , sleep meds . On a solid liquid diet and doing so much better after being at St David's 30 hrs . 3 days in San Marcos they did nothing but watch and listen to her cry and toss n turn all night along with throw up all day and night ! Don't take your family here

Obgyn is terrible was charged 204$ for 1 visit when i was 17 and they took the medicate i had they keep saying its dined and im almost 19 now and now getting spam calls from a bill collector not paying they already gave my bill to someone else

Treated rudely in the emergency room.
The ICU nurses were very accommodating. The doctor assessing my case failed to tell me that I need a surgery.
I was woken up by a nurse sound asleep to be informed of this. Very sad.

I was just at Christus Santa Rosa hospital in San Marcos Tx from Saturday July 20th 2024 to Tuesday July 23rd 2024. The hospital staff was amazing from the E.R to my room on the second floor. From housekeeping, cafeteria staff, nurses, wound care, Doctors, every person involved in my care was outstanding. I am so thankful that God gave them the ability and knowledge to care for me. You will all carry a special place in my heart. Thank you so much!!!

The ED staff could not have been more attentive, caring, capable, professional taking care of my husband who arrived in very bad shape due to having been swarmed by over 100 bees. They literally saved his life. Forever grateful for their care and I would not hesitate to use this ED again.
