Went in--got in fairly quick but after her xray, we understand there was a wait (we were told 25-30min). We've been waiting for 50 minutes now. After 1 hour I called for assistance/ update--they called radiology and they didn't know what was holding them up, (she said "they couldn't read the xray" ???) which i get, and again said about 1 more hr--we've already been here 2hr 10min. Problem here is that there should be an update a long time ago. If I didn't call for update, they'll probably hold us there for 2 more hours fkkn nuts!!!!!!

I would stay as far away from this hospital as possible unless you are in grave danger. I broke my leg and I knew it was pretty bad and this was the closest hospital. The hospital staff was really nice but the services and facilities were poor at best and dangerous at worst. First of all the wheelchair they put me in had a broken wheel lock, which is really unsafe when trying to get in and out of a chair safely. The wheelchair BARELY fit through the doorway. It was a standard size chair so there's no way an extra wide chair could easily maneuver around there; larger patients be extra aware! The radiology tech was completely incompetent. He kept moving my ankle to take the x-ray and it kept dislocating, causing excruciating pain. He did not seem too bothered and did very little to make the x-ray experience more comfortable. They were short staffed that night, which is fine, but a poor brand new EMT trainee had to hold my foot in traction for AN HOUR until they could splint it because my ankle kept dislocating...what a nightmare! The doctor was not able to set my leg for the splint application and I have no idea what the qualifications were of the guy that actually set my leg were, but he did a pretty bad job. When I got in to see a reputable orthopedic surgeon at UT-Austin and he took off the splint he said he would definitely have made them redo it. Now I have no idea if I'm going to suffer lifelong mobility issues due to my leg being set poorly. Now I'm dealing with insurance because they look like they are billing in really shady ways. Please stay away from this place unless you are about to die. It's really bad!

From the time we wakes in the door the service was amazing. My husband was seen right away. W we gone from the young lady that did his vitals, drew blood, his nurse Cassie and Dr.Martin went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary - not exactly where I wanted to be to- haha. However, my husband was the priority and they definitely made him feel that way. Diagnosis- kidney stone. Thank goodness they were able to give him some pain relief for our 5 hour drive home. Thank you to all the staff that took care of my husband! Your hard work did not go unnoticed and you are greatly appreciated!

Misdiagnosed issues. Said it was a thyroid problem when it wasn't. Never even mentioned that there was a issue with the EKG. We are now seeing a cardiologist for that problem. MA told us not to worry about the low blood pressure because the machine " wasn't correct" Left the hospital in worse shape then when we walked in

MyChart I am frustrated because I've asked many times - with promise of follow-up - why I cannot integrate my MyChart data with the my Health app in my iPhone like I can for the other 6 Epic healthcare systems I have MyChart accounts for. Each time I reach out and someone promises follow-up I never get a response. As my PCP I expect this information to be available to me in any way possible - especially in the most basic ways. Frustrating.

I went here because I had an emergency only to be told that there is nothing they can do because they're not a hospital who is equipped to run any test. Seriously, then why are you even open to the public? Makes me wonder, do you guys not want to deal with brown skin ppl or are you just incompetent? On top of all this, you want to charge me for just "can't help you". Don't bring your love ones or yourself here.

I got injured at work and the staff was not attentive and bart even examined me before letting me leave with little to no instruction. The X-ray tech explained absolutely nothing that was going on and had me lay on my broken rib with no regard for how much pain i was in. overall a terrible experience i hope i never have to go there again .

If I could give this place less than one star I would. My boyfriend was admitted with COVID and a severe panic attack and the nurses were beyond unprofessional and unsympathetic. Clearly in distress they did little to none to assist him. While he was having a full on panic attack a nurse told him to calm down it's just COVID. Completely disgusted by the maltreatment going on in this hospital.

Consistent horrible care on the 3rd floor by nurses and nursing assistants. My mother was about to be allowed to leave against medical advice while suffering from altered mental status. I asked her nurse to speak to the charge nurse and she was also charging and about to discharge my mother home. Unfortunately, this location is convenient for many. This leaves people no choice but to be forced to accept poor quality of care. After Christus took over, not much has changed. The resources available at this hospital are much less than before as "CTMC."
