They took amazing care of my car while me and my son got to have some breakfast at McDonald's. Please be aware they are cashless and I made the mistake with going in with cash only, not realizing the change. Thankfully one of the managers paid with their card and I paid him in cash no problem!! If you're in need of brake checks or fluid change, stop here!! They're great part of the community!!

This location did a horrible job with my wheel alignment claiming they couldn’t fully fix it because something in the rear suspension was supposedly broken. My car was driving perfectly fine before I took it to this place but they gave it back with a horrible alignment. They returned my car back to me without test driving it and when i drove off and hit 40 mph the car started sliding. A couple days later i lost full control of the car going 70mph. Spencer the corporate director told me over the phone that technically it’s my fault because I “drive a sports car”. Instead of taking accountability for what they did to my car he refused to give me a refund and gave me attitude. Took it to another place and they fixed my alignment with no problem.

Horrible, horrible service. Do not waste your time at Brake Check in San Marcos.
My husband was told his truck would take one hour. Fine. Things happen. But he ended up waiting THREE HOURS with zero communication. When he finally went to check on the status, they casually told him they were “already working on it.”
Except… they weren’t even working on his truck.
They were working on a completely different vehicle. They didn’t even know his truck hadn’t been touched.
That alone shows how disorganized and careless this place is.
It gets worse. I called to see what they were going to do to make this right, and the customer service was beyond disrespectful. The guy on the phone cut me off while I was speaking, rushed me with “Is there anything else I can do for you?” and when I directly asked what they were going to do about the situation, he flat out said they weren’t going to do anything.
No apology. No accountability. No solution.
If you value your time, your vehicle, or basic human decency, go anywhere else. This location clearly does not care about customers once they have you sitting there waiting. Absolute joke of a business.
