Neil and Kelvon are always very helpful. Only place in SM that I found that carries Aveda products so I go here for facial products. If they don't have it they can order it. I already had a hair salon before coming here or I would've tried their services too.

I live in North Austin and have been driving to San Marcos for over 20 years to have my hair done at Kelvon and Neil's salon. It is worth it if you want the best. I don't trust anyone else to take care of my hair!

I recently moved to San Marcos from a rural area in another state, where I'd had trouble finding someone to cut my hair well. Seeing the great reviews AKYA received, I gave them a try. What a find! Both stylists are skilled, professional, and kind. They offer clients a calm, relaxing space. And the Aveda products they use and sell are top-notch. At last I have the haircut I want! Wonderful first hair appointment at the salon. I've gone to my friend for a long time and she retired so I was nervous about getting my hair done by someone else. But Neil made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped into the salon. The haircut and color are perfect, and Neil listened to what I prefer and did exactly that. Highly recommend - will definitely be a regular client now.

With some calendar timing conflict on Friday, the 24th of March, Neil and Kelvon were able to schedule me an hour+ earlier in order to help me resolve the conflict. The actual service was quick and precise, giving me even more wiggle room with my timing to make my Boyfriend's band setup and Music event. When he picked me up, my Boyfriend asked if I had gotten more color, that my hair looked really good and that was all from a wash, 'whisper cut' and style!DServices: Haircut
