My medication is at another HEB, but I ran out, and the only HEB that had it in stocks was this one. They answered my questions, double-checked my insurance, and told me my copay over the phone before arriving. Plus, they had it ready within the next hour. Great service! Thank you, HEB pharmacy

Pharmacy at H E B, I feel is good for me to use knowing that beside calling and getting great customer service in H E B San Juan There is also Drive Thru and I love the fast great service

you'd swear they were whipping up the medications from scratch in there the way it took so long. every time I pick up a prescription from here I download a new audio book to listen to in anticipation of this wait.

I was told over the phone I could walk in for a booster shot at 9am, I get there and they tell me they don't do the shots until 11am, I get handed a form, i fill it out, asked a lady behind the counter if I could drop it off right now, she rudely says you can sit down and wait, we'll get it from you when we start doing the shots at 11, it was 9am..a simple no, you turn it in when you come would've been enough.. not the first issue I've had with them. Walgreens is very thorough, friendly and just do much more and way better. I went over to Walgreens at 9:30 am was in and out no hassle.

Honestly, on two separate occasions, both male pharmacy techs, who vaccinated my child for COVID, can use some customer service training. Not because my child acted up or anything (there really wasn't any interaction between them besides "which arm?") but their demeanor is "meh". Not friendly or anything... Usually store managers keep up the friendly customer service and it does reflect on the cashiers and the rest of the employees but sadly, this ends when you reach the pharmacy. I guess since the pharmacy is just another dept that does not include food or groceries, its like having a McDonald's at a Walmart... Two totally separate entities, I guess.

I am 45 years old and up until know i was happy with my HEB. That is no longer true. I am not phone savvy but I noticed tou had a coupon for my favorite cream. It was on the app and I was a little anxious but decided to try something new. Asked a manager he pointed me to a cashier and he advised her to give me the qr for the app. She proceeded to ask if I wanted to download the app to use a coupon and if so the APP was going to take 10 minutes to download. Wife told her that it didn’t take that long on her phone. She looked annoyed and just stood there. My wife asked if she could pause the transaction and she said yes, angrily. We sat down and it took the app about 3 mins to download and I felt good. Ok then, back to the line, a person was before us. We handed phone to same cashier and she rudely told us that the coupon wasn’t there. See? That is what I told you it takes 10 minutes to download. My wife was getting a little angry and retorts: no you said the app.Had you told us the coupon was going to take 10 minutes, you know, took your time to explain properly we either could have waited outside the line or just paid full price. She started screaming at my wife that she was wrong. Now my wife is angry and I am considering never to come back to what used to be my favorite HEB . It was a dollar. She could have just taken it out or take time to explain better. I know it’s post pandemic ,but, either train cashiers better or get better employees.
