Alex and his team provide the best customer service that I have seen in this area, they genuinely treat you like family and care about your medical needs. Having relocated to the area, it was a true blessing to have been able to find Alex at Zikam. He has impressed me again and again, so much that I am a customer for life. I have recommended this business to my girlfriend and I will continue to recommend Alex and his team to all of my friends and family. Thank you Alex for your support and assistance, I greatly appreciate it sir. 5 Star service, if I could give a higher rating I would, but I know without any doubt in my mind that his level of service will continue to make Alex a success at the Zikam Pharmacy.

The entire staff was incredibly helpful to me at Zikam Neighborhood Pharmacy. I had an insurance issue with the VA and without hesitation, helped to sort out the challenges I was facing. They are all extremely kindhearted and blessed me so much by filling my prescription and staying open for a few extra minutes past closing to allow me to arrive. They took decisive action and made on-the-spot leadership decisions that were within their power to go above and beyond to help me without hesitation. Thank you so much for taking care of my needs and for the generosity and kindness you showed me!

How ludicrous from Alexander & his partner Ngozika, residing at 2527 Villa Borghese San Antonio, TX (Property ID: 1160232 on Bexar CAD) in a $320,000+ house makes me feel his initial response to my question about Adderall being in stock in any dosage or in generic, as Focalin is causing unwanted symptoms with my other several medications, resulted in anger due to many others wanting to see if this medication is available. Current shortage going on. He has told me FYI that they hold sed medication for their customers. I was able to make him agree he handled the situation wrong - but having worked with a very similar employer situation - it is all about the money not the customers. It makes me sad how many people have great experiences except because he believes I have never filled medications at his pharmacy I deserve to be hung up on when asking if they felt I should call bi-weekly to find out or monthly? CLICK. Not cool. I worked in customer service for over 10 years, these were my formative years, so you imagine when you hear, "oh it is a neighborhood pharmacy," after getting out of the ER for the third time in a year, one might think friendliness, concern or compassion would be characteristic of Alexander Oguamanam, owner, manager, and pharmacist, NPI: 1760869101, might be the rudest person I have encountered on this planet. I was hung up on by him 2-3 months back not because I was saying something rude only asking questions and he did not believe I was a previous utilizer of his pharmacy, which I was so when he realized that and saw I had spent money at his pharmacy whole tone change. Then a more recent attempt to call resulted in him telling his employees to not answer the phone, because there were 7 people waiting, which I am on the phone you can keep me waiting. Everyone knows in customer service you take care of the person in front of you, or you let them know about your website, app... Anything but telling your employees to leave a "questioning client," from having their call answered. Instead, it ended with me calling later that same day to be scolded for asking too many questions. DON'T QUESTION

I don’t live close by here, but I was in a pickle and calling every single pharmacy for hours to find what I needed immediately. Zikam went above and beyond for me, a stranger in a crisis, and for that, I won’t go anywhere else now. If you’re looking for a neighborhood pharmacy that extends beyond a “local” neighborhood, this is it. They’re worth your business. They actually truly care about you and your well-being.

My son’s pediatrician sent us to Zika for a kid’s sized walking boot. We were greeted as soon as we came in the door, and the pharmacist was so friendly and helpful. He fitted the boot on my son and was so great with him too! It’s out of the way for meds for me, but for any medical devices (such as boots or crutches) we might need in the future, I will not just go to Zikam but recommended it to friends as well. Hands down, a great experience despite a sad little boy with a bad sprain.

I visited their pharmacy May of last year to get my Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, once it had been verified as safe. When I entered on a walk-in, after calling in the morning, I was greeted by an entire office of patients and a selfless pharmacist and his staff working tirelessly to administer the vaccine, free of charge, to anyone who wanted it, simply to help their neighbors through the worst of the pandemic. Thank you from the people of San Antonio for your humble and selfless service.

Needed a specialized breathing machine for my husband after a bad fall that fractured his ribs. Regular pharmacy could not provide. I was desperate. Called Zikam Pharmacy and they had it. Close by and very friendly. Recommended a soothing rub for his sore ribs and bruised back. Would highly recommend it.
