Spent too much money here to not tell me the root problem on what my dog had. First of all rude receptionist (white lady) the doctor was nice, but they just want you to keep spending money. better off going to the vet at petco, they gave me everything my dog needed and much more for the price!

Great vet! I would highly recommend taking your pets to see James Gates. He and his staff are wonderful as very friendly! My dog Lola loves her vet!!

Wonderful Dr. He prescribed my pup medication for his dermatitis which has been ongoing for several years. He also had a refill which I picked up. His dermatitis is getting better. I also had him clip ,my pups nails.

Dr Gates is really nice! Great staff too! My pug had allergies and Dr Gates gave him a allergy shot and in a couple days he wasn't itching anymore

They got my 10mo old puppy in the same day for a UTI. Prescribed her antibiotics on the spot and were super kind. They explained everything to me and answered any questions i had regarding shots/vaccinations without judgement. Only downside to this particular vet is they will refer you to an animal hospital if your pet is very sick instead of intakes, which is understandable. ❤️

So we took in an English bulldog that was in very bad shape . we were so desperate to get him help so we started looking around prices were extremely high just to see him and then we found dr James Gates.. he told us he might not get to 100% cuz he was in very bad shape but he said let give it a shot .. treated him with everything he had and 6weeks later he’s doing amazing.. the price was also very affordable we highly recommend him the staff was so kind thank you so much Chubba’s family ?❤️

I have been taking my pets to Dr. James Gates for over 20 years. I love this clinic its so convenient because it's so close to my house. I could walk if I wanted to. Dr. Gates and his staff have always been so kind, friendly, and professional. They are affordable and have good business. They are like family instead of a business because they know their clients and the pets history. Mary has become a good friend. They do get busy but they put you on schedule as soon as possible. They might have to schedule surgeries out a bit but Mary gets you in on first availability. I did take my Yorkie there one time when she had Heat Stroke and Dr. Gates saw me even though I didn't have an appointment but it was an emergency. I love this clinic. Thanks Dr. Gates and staff for taking such good care of all my fur babies.
