Went over the weekend, and as much as me and my husband just wanted to look around for our next camping trip I kept noticing weird eye contact from the employees, even from a distance!... Like are you serious? I had the smallest bag in my collection and no baggy clothes tell me how or why we're being followed, based on what? My partner too just had a simple tee and shorts what damage could we have done just browsing!? So uncomfortable!!

Always liked coming here they have great products however my last experience was quite different. Me and my wife were shopping yesterday and noticed that we were being obviously followed by employees. I understand that we may not dress like were from alamo heights but to be to be followed so closely in the women's and camping section its obvious we were profiled. For a place to have books on racial struggles and yoga they sure did racially profile us and make us uncomfortable. Alot of fake diversity and equality going on in this store will not be coming back.

Linen dresses, barefoot shoes, and friendly staff. The reason I gave 3 stars is because one staff member kept staring at me. I assume it was because I had a stroller, but I'm 4 months post partum, a first time mom, and not about to baby wear and walk the Quarry. Even at that, I shouldn't feel uncomfortable shopping with my stroller.

Now that I'm older I feel like there was moore here I remember the chimes being massive and I mean massive sounding like gong. More clothes now then befor but the little nic nac and games brought back memories.

What a. Awesome Store. The selection is great and Texas outdoors oriented. The sales staff knew each pair of shoes in great detail.

Has a great variety of great gifts for the outdoorsy people in your life. Perfect place to find some great outdoors cloths some decent selection of shoes for hiking/running or walking. I highly recommend stopping in to see the variety of items they have. I found a cool metal lunch box that I want to gift but also want to keep... well anyhow this place is very cool. I'm glad it exists.

Great selection to bad we had at some point 3 different people follow us. In the book section as I was searching for a book to buy my baby who was asleep in the stroller and this worker stayed literally three feet away from me the whole time. At one point I stopped and glanced at her for being so close to my personal space. Then another coworker came around and she says “oh I’m just looking at books” no ma’am you are definitely not! Seems like they like to profile people based on their color and appearance. REI would never. I will keep my business elsewhere.

Cool store with some really cool toys and nice clothes but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. While the clerk in camping was attentive, the clerk working in clothing had not a word to say and the three clerks at the register ignored my presence. I will look to spend my money where it is appreciated. With unfriendly service like this, buy online and save the frustration.

Love this store! Staff is always friendly and helpful! Always find good items here. Also, the book selection is not bad at all. The kids section is super cute. I have enjoyed all my visits here.

This is one of my little boy’s favorite stores. He’s 12 years old with a cognitive disability and low-verbal autism and as such, he gravitates to all of the younger STEM and childrens’ toys. He’s also always had an affinity for nostalgic and retro toys, and Whole Earth offers a lot of these kinds of novelty toys.We generally stay shopping there for an hour each time we go. It’s interactive enough to keep him exploring and hold his interest. Definitely a great place for gifts.
