The front desk staff are nice but it's just for show, they have very rude tenants that live ther and dictate how every one should live , and if you don't follow the rules that the tenants set them they report and then the staff make your life unbearable

I would like to give the biggest thanks to miss Kassandra Martinez from the leasing office of white rock apartments. She was very thorough with explaining my inquiries. She was patient and accepting of all things I needed asked and verified. She made me feel as though she was working for me and not against me if that makes sense.

The team at White Rock are top notch. Office staff is always on top of everything, and the maintenance crew do a great job of repairs. My initial move in experience went very smooth with the help of kass and others. I intend to stay longer and recommend this property to anyone else looking.

The person who I really want to acknowledge the most here is, Kassandra. She's been amazing from the start. She was very quick to respond back to any questions I had. She was very helpful and informative during the application process. The office staff is all very friendly, helpful and professional. We did have some hiccups during our move-in, which did cause some frustration, like our keys not working, but Kassandra always made sure to have them corrected and followed up with me. The level of thoughtfulness she has really speaks volumes. So far the community has been great!

I love white rock apartments. I have worked with Emily for several years she provides the best customer service and is bi lingual. I highly recommend this community as your next home.

I've lived here almost 5 years, and the place has gone into free fall. Less than two weeks ago we had a fatal shooting, the complex could have prevented. There is no courtesy officer patrolling. Cars have been stolen, storage units are now being broken into. My neighbor even had their ring camera stolen. Building 4 and many others are infested with roaches. Our AC has been broken more times than I can count. I even watched teens have a fist fight around midnight in the middle of the dog park area. The property manager doesn't care about tenants or your concerns. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

Moved in here few months ago, first place without my parents was a little lost and confused at first but let me say the Front office staff are awesome always willing to go above and beyond, Kass has helped me with any questions/issues I have had straight away. Maintenance department is on top of the game and knowledgeable. all really good people and trustworthy which is hard to find in San Antonio anymore. Would definitely recommend this complex.

I wish to leave an extremely positive review about White Rock apartment homes.
My daughter and I moved on property in 2014 and we are still here going strong. If it had not been initially for the leasing agent Amanda who took such extreme care of us excellent and the property manager Donna, both were phenomenal and still are. Donna, is all heart, she is extremely professional and has been taking hold of this property since we've been here. She puts her true heart and soul into what she does and how she does it, and in reflection of how well maintained this property is along with the ladies in the office. Excellent job Donna!
May I add, our apartment in this property is our home sweet home. We've dug our roots very very deep, my daughter absolutely loves living here and so do I, we are so blessed.
Our apartment is well taking care of, Jorge - the maintenance manager, is so awesome, he has such heart and he genuinely cares, we could not ask for more from White Rock. We are so blessed to still be living here, thank you so much for taking such good care of us and making it possible to have a home sweet home. Amen God bless and thank you so much.

I have lived at White Rock for 5 years for a reason. The management and maintenance staff are nothing less than outstanding. Extremely attentive on every detail. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff holds regular events for the residents to celebrate National Days and holidays, and the property is kept extremely safe, a credit to the management and the community. I would definitely recommend, and have recommended White Rock to friends and to those who have inquired.

Building 17: ROACH infestations, Lack of Parking, Lies, Expensive Deposits, Broken Exit Gates.
I know this is a lot to read, but I want to warn you.
ROACH INFESTATION:
I moved into building 17 Spring 2023. Unit 1723 (my unit) and 1724 both had consistent roach activity but White Rock will not tell you that. There were also other units with roach activity in our building (White Rock placed a notice that they needed to check the whole building MONTHS after I had been complaining on a weekly basis). My unit had roach feces throughout when I moved in, which they (Hali) told me I had to clean myself since the make-ready team/maintenance didn't. I wonder why I was complaining for months, and only at the end of the year did they check where/who the roaches were coming from in our building.
I had my unit sprayed over 15 times (plus a bombing) and there were still roaches there. They also tried to charge me $300 for a transfer fee at first, even though they knew I requested transferring because of the roach infestation. There was a lady who moved into 1724 in the Fall of 2023 and moved right out in a few days since there were so many roaches in her unit as well. White Rock lied and told me surrounding apartment units did not have issues with roaches, although previous tenant in 1724 next door (months before she moved out) told them she had roaches before the new lady moved in and complained. White Rock tried to act surprised when the new tenant complained about roaches in 1724. Convo attached.
If pest control visits for 5 minutes (at most 10) and does not see a roach, White Rock will state that “Pest control did not see any activity”. I provided evidence on a weekly basis (photos, date found, and location), and they still stated that “there was no activity” if pest control didn’t see any roaches during their quick visit. They use this saying to cover themselves.
I showed an employee from Worldwide Pest Control (the second company sent to my unit) the photos I took before I cleaned, and he stated that it was evidence of an infestation. He also stated that roach feces attracts more roaches, and this should have been cleaned before my move in. White Rock stated that “Pest control did not see any activity” during this visit.
ROACHES - UNIT 1324:
I planned to transfer to a new unit (at my consistent request), 1324, however, they admitted that there were roaches in that unit as well! I had asked them 2 questions via text: 1. If they saw any roaches in 1324 and 2. If pest control was spraying 1324. In the text, they ignored my first question purposely, and just told me that they were spraying it. I had to ask the 1st question again and ONLY THEN did they let me know that 1324 had roach activity. I attached the conversation in the photos.
They did not even offer to refund me for my admin fee for my application for transferring to 1324 ($45) - I had to ask them myself, since I did not want to move into 1324 apartment with roaches (which as mentioned, they tried to hide from me).
ERROR IN NOISE COMPLAINT:
They gave me a warning for a loud noise, but I was not even home. The tenant directly below bothered me multiple times (even 3 PM on a Saturday afternoon) and she even bothered previous tenants as well. When they received a noise complaint, I saw the employee walk past my apartment on my Ring camera but she did not even stop at my door to ensure the sound was from my unit. Again, I was not home.
PARKING COMPLAINTS:
Parking for buildings near the entrance (or even in the middle of the complex) is horrific as well. If you come home late at night, you will have to park 4/5+ buildings away. They state that they have fixed the parking issue, but they have not. The only apartments that have parking are the ones further in the back or near the exit.
BROKEN GATE:
The exit gate did not close a lot of the time.

Been here going on a year this coming October. The office staff Hali and Kassandra are super nice and helpful. The maintenance crew does a good job. The property is well kept up and clean. The community is a pretty quiet ones, except for my upstairs neighbor, always making noise till 2am. Definitely would recommend people to come live here.
