Abel Garcia is such a helpful banker! My family has been needing the services of Wells Fargo a lot the past year and he has helped us with every appointment. Went into the branch to deposit a check that was issued to my maiden name while my account has my married name. I called ahead of time to ask what I needed to do to deposit this check cause I understand there is a name discrepancy, and rightfully so, I'm to be questioned. I was told to take some proof of the name change, and that will help me deposit my check without the hassle of asking the check issuer to re-issue it with my married name. The branch manager, Anna, was quick to greet me when I walked in and took notice of the documents in my hand and made sure to ask me some questions about my visit. I appreciate the attentiveness and concern. I was good to go after explaining my situation. I didn't wait that long in line, and it wasn't very busy, but customers nonetheless. I was helped by a gentleman whose name I forgot (sorry!) who was effecient and professional and had me in and out in under 10 min... if that. Overall, I had a great customer service experience. It helps to be prepared by calling ahead to the Wells Fargo customer service and asking what you might need to bring if doing something like what I did.

Time to close my accounts with WF. The last year wait times have been horrendous. Very few tellers working. Was followed from this location and robbed. Now they won't give you deposit tickets to take. Filling out deposit tickets after you pull up will make the horrendously slow lines slower. Brilliant.

One teller taking care of three different lanes is unexpected. This doesn’t include multiple transactions of one customer. While other employees are walking behind teller. Average wait time with one customer ahead of you is 20 to 30 minutes (wait).

5 Customers ahead of me, waited 26 minutes on 2 tellers working, normally go to Millitary Branch (had always been great for me) 2 days ago just learned it was closed and needed to find another location, here at Potranco and 1604 is understaffed for the amount of customers also, in and out parking lot to get back to Potranco Rd is not easy, 2 stars as staff helped me with no problems.

Helpful attentive staff. I came on Saturday and waited a bit longer than I'd like but I could tell the people ahead of me were dealing with more complex transactions besides simple withdrawals/ deposits.

Worst branch in San Antonio. Over 30 minute wait for drive thru. Inexperienced people working here. Save yourself time and the hassle and take your business elsewhere.
