I can’t thank Sheila enough for her excellent customer service. We went to the Walgreens on Tezel to get passport photos. The service was horrible and when we got our photos back they were dark and looked terrible. Sheila went above and beyond to take our photos again. She was extremely understanding and was willing to help us any way she could.

went thru the drive thru n bella was the one at the window. n she was horrible. she took very long to get our medications out and they have 2 lanes for prescription pu n she skipped us. they took 20 min n we had kids in the car n it was hot. idk she would do that but she was white n the car that she let in front of us had whites in it also

I would really avoid this pharmacy if at all possible. Apparently their stock medication filling system messes up people's prescriptions regularly. I received a text saying my prescription was ready to be refilled, and to type REFILL if I wanted to refill it.
I typed refill a total of 5 times, and all 5 times the app replied with "sorry, we do not understand your response". This may have nothing to do with this pharmacy, it's just the start of the problem for me. So I called in the next day, and used the auto phone refill system. It told me my prescription would be ready the next day (a Friday) after 2pm. I was out of town that day, but my husband tried to pick it up the following Sunday. 2 days after it was scheduled to be ready.
He pulled up to the drive thru window, and after maybe 2 minutes or so of no one coming to the window, he pushed the call button. After another maybe 4 minutes of waiting, the pharmacist came to the window. He was not only told that my prescription wasn't ready, but that it was still in Dallas, where their meds are issued from. That they didn't have any on site. He said that I was supposed to start this on that day, and the pharmacist was extremely rude, saying "what do you want me to do?!" . When he asked if anything could be expedited, she said nothing could be done. She never even looked back at the computer, she never said he could try another location, she offered nothing but rudeness. Even my 9 year old son in the back seat said "man she was rude!" There was no one in line behind them, and from what he could see, there were no customers at the counter inside.
I went there 2 hours later, looking to get an explanation as to why things were the way they were. It's a super common medication, I've been on it for 20+ years, and this is the second time (only at this location) that this exact thing has happened. I've attempted to fill it there twice, meaning 100% of the time, I don't get my meds the day I'm supposed to, or even a few days after.
I told this story to the pharmacy tech that called me up, and she, the pharmacy tech that has only been working there for less than a handful of months, looked at the computer, told me that yes, it was coming out of Dallas, but that she also had the medication In the back, and could fill it that day.
I waited 10 minutes, and a woman who had JUST STARTED WORKING HERE, outperformed the licensed pharmacist in the job itself, and customer service. She's the only reason this review got 2 stars, otherwise it for sure would have been a one. If I could just rate her, I'd give 5 stars.
Will definitely be switching pharmacies.

Really terrible pharmacy. A few of the techs are really nice people but the systems constantly mess things up. Don’t even bother here!

Worst pharmacy ever ! Pain prescription was electronically sent to this location after I personally called to make sure they do have it stocked & was supposed to be ready within the next 2 hours ! After about 20min received a call from them saying they were sorry & didn’t have it ! After back & forth how that happened & if other Wallgreens have the medication, was told the one on bruns & 1604 , less than 5min away have plenty . So I asked if they would send it over & was told my doctor had to send it over as a new prescription & they were already closed ! Friday afternoon they tell me to wait Saturday, Sunday & Monday since is new year to call my doctor for new proscription to other location & hopefully they still have them 5 days later or they will schedule the transfer to hopefully have them Wednesday (6 days later hopefully) & wouldn’t sell a week amount of my med to get me through till then ! Don’t have it , don’t send the electronically sent prescription to their own store down the road & don’t care about the patient ! At the end so kind to suggest that I could go to emergency room if in pain !!!

My physician phoned in 3 scripts Friday morning. One for acute pain (hydrocodone). I was notified they were out of hydrocodone stock by text and more was coming but given no idea when. They made no apparent effort to find it elsewhere or to refer me. So no treatment for acute pain until, well who knows when. It's Saturday evening nowTheir chat option is a bot that has no ability to help in this situation. The other two medications (common) are delayed and should be available by 1:30 Monday (more than 3 days after they were phoned in). I have tried to contact them but had a terribly busy day today and could not (between 9 and 5) spend it calling repeatedly on the phone. So tomorrow I will have to go in person and try to get my scripts transferred to a pharmacy that has the medications. I understand that a pharmacy may run out of a medication episodically or have supply issues but to apparently do nothing about it (esp. a chain store) is about as minimal an attempt at customer service as possible.

This review is for the pharmacy only. It's awful. They never have the medicine or they forget to put in your order. Huge lack of communication. This had happened many, many times. Optum RX, here I come!

Passport photo was rejected because of the lighting (they shot the photo in the freezer section). Due to the side lighting there were shadows across 1/3 my face. Because they were in a rush and busy, I didn’t look at the photo before paying. Now I have lost time and need to go get another passport photo taken elsewhere. This review is only regarding their passport photo service. I have had no issues with the rest of the store.

Absolutely The WORST Walgreens ever ....their systems are always shut either before opening or almost when they are about to close(cash only) this is totally ridiculous and it always seems to be this precise location get it together, Had inform the clerk I was gonna use Google pay and he said it wouldn't work so when I tried buying something pretending I was gonna pay cash I tap my phone towards the card terminal right away and transaction when thrue successfully so at this point I am trying to think they are using that excuse that their systems are down so they can get rid of customers quicker or make their closing procedure faster I am NEVER coming to this Walgreens ever again rather go to CVS down the street or the other Walgreens down the street off Culebra Rd employees are clueless at this store

Would do .5 star but no option. Pricey and not always a good merchandise selection but I do like the candy inventory as well as variety if items.
