I took my truck for minor routine maintenance on Saturday around 1:00 pm. Michelle in service took care of what I needed very quickly. My truck was completed within 1hour. Great, fast and friendly service.

have been having transmission concerns for quite some time on my 2 yr old silverado
attempted multiple times to have the service dept at ancira chevrolet service my vehicle
each time they would informed me it would take up to a month before service would be completed
since they could not accommodate me with a loner i contacted vara chevrolet
their version was up to a two week period of service and a loaner
so there i go …
upon arrival my service advisor richard trevino was not available
the advisor i spoke with said there were no loaners but he did promise a two week wait
i asked for a ride home and they had me wait in the lobby
after an hour and 15 minutes i had my advisor mr trevino paged
he and the porter both approached me and said they were never informed by the other advisor that i was waiting for a ride home
after a week i attempted to call and get an update
i highly advise no one call to find out about your vehicle:
i had the misfortune of speaking to the most rude, most unwilling female advisor to offer updates on vehicles being serviced
she would just hang up the phone
other times i would ask for mr trevino whom was never available
at the end of two weeks i received a text stating the mechanic working on my vehicle became ill and would not return for two weeks
the mechanic taking over was swamped with his own work that my services had to wait for two more weeks
after speaking with a supervisor he assured me he would fix the issue
the next day he called and said my vehicle was ready
he mentioned all it needed was a quite module device recalibration
how curios, all this time waiting and it was a quick fix
i realize people get sick and work can become overwhelming
but it’s the empty promises and lack of customer satisfaction i do not appreciate
and my transmission started acting up again
do i recommend the service depts at vara chevrolet ?
absolutely not

I called at noon to see if they had oil change openings, lady told me to be in before 1pm. I arrived at 12:35pm. A gentleman told me I might not get accepted due to the time. I informed him that I called and what I was told (Look I understand someone not wanting to work on a Saturday. BUT, you signed up for it as your job). So with that being said, I checked my oil before leaving and it was over filled by half a quart. And checked it this morning to settle all the way & still the same.

Fast service and very professional service staff. The location is very convenient to the south side residents of San Antonio as well. I have gone to many other Chevrolet dealerships throughout the San Antonio area but I wouldn’t go to any other as Vara Chevrolet has the best service.

It was my day . I had no appointment and I was there for a safety harness recall on my 2020 Equinox. I don’t have children so I wasn’t in a rush to get that checked and since I was there they were able to see me. I decided to get the throttle body cleaned out with the service coupon I was mailed. Jose was great ?? very kind, friendly & courteous. He inspected my vehicle inside & out and we were done in a little over an hour. I’m a very happy & satisfied customer. Thank you
