Absolute worst company that has gone so far down hill over the last few years. Locked me out of all of my money, and no one can explain why. Never bank with this institution ever.

This is the worse company you could ever choose to do business with. They do not appreciate veterans here at all.

The absolute worst experiences in less than a year. On the banking side, I was a victim of fraud and they treated me like the peasants that attempted to scam me. Mind you, the security measures stood firm and thwarted the 2 attempts. No harm no foul you say, nope not with these guys. My account was closed and my money was in limbo and untouchable for almost 2 months!! It was a nightmare and they quadrupled the effects by holding my money hostage for 7 weeks!
On the auto insurance side, I rate shopped when my renewal period arrived. I secured a policy for a whopping $400 per month lower rate with the Government Employees Insurance Company!!! Never will I use USAA again; thieves.

I've been with USAA for many years (both home and auto) but service has turned into trash in the last couple of years. It's been so bad, I recently changed insurance company for my autos and will soon for my home. Not only is it nearly impossible to speak to a human through the automated system, but once you do reach a human (after 30 mins of the automated circle of death), the reps either can't help, or give wrong info. And God forbid you have a claim, you will have to fight to get any information or updates. Not sure if there is new management or what but USAA has turned into trash lately, and most of my vet friends agree. Supporting the military should be more than just a patriotic-sounding commercial, we should actually get the good service promised by the ads. The military deserves better USAA...

This is the worst absolute company to use. They are holding my disability and my retirement checks. Causing my family and me hardships. After contacting them. I was told to bad we can't help you. My account keep continues to negative as my allotment try to get pulled ,since they are refusing to release my fund. Is this how you treat your service men and woman. How can you say you are for the Service?Use us, make money on us, and yet instead of rectifying this issue you are now causing disabled veterans more hard ship. New Bank and insurance on my future. don't use USAA

I filed a claim with Usaa for my vehicle they deemed my car as total loss. The dollar value amount usaa is going to pay for my vehicle does not cover the total amount owed to my financial company. Usaa/Copart will not release the payment until my financial company send them the title to my vehicle. Usaa/ Copart is requesting a letter of guarantee from my financial company stating they will send Coparts my original title. They are not paying off my car so why would they send the title to Coparts. My gap insurance will not pay the remaining balance until Usaa/Copart send the payment to the financial company. This is terrible. I can't find anything in SC laws stating the insurance company is required to send in the original title or submit the application for salvage title. My financial will not agree to send Coparts my title because they don't own my vehicle. When the lien gets paid off the title will come to the owner (me). I can apply for the salvage title. The way usaa is handling this is unacceptable. It's not a requirement for SCDMV. They make it so hard for policy holders for no reason. My financial company offered to send Copart a Hold Harmless Letter and a copy of my title. Usaa is rejecting everything. Usaa is the worse ever.

I'm a veteran and have been a Member with USAA for 20 years. If I could give a Zero at this point I would. I'm contemplating closing all of my accounts. I work in Insurance and NEVER have I hung up on a customer. I was hung up on twice because I could not hear/understand the individual on the other end of the line. I kept asking to be transferred to someone with better phone quality. Finally I get someone on the line I'm waiting for police while filing my claim with the representative and I get told my claim is going to be investigated because the system flagged and the representative could not tell me why. I'm already stressed out standing outside waiting for the police my rear end of my car smashed in and my claim is on hold while being investigated, and the person who submitted my claim that told me my claim is under investigation cannot tell me why. This is terrible customer service and I'm
contacting the north Carolina insurance facility.

I have been a loyal customer for 20 years. Never had an issue. I bought a small car for my kids, approved for lending. USAA mailed me my check, fed ex lost it. I opened a case with fed ex. Check came the next day. Took the check to the dealership, no problem. When I called USAA to let them know the check was missing, they said the only thing they could do was cancel the check and resubmit. I told them to wait, I’d be opening a case with FEDEX. This USAA representative, canceled the check and canceled my loan! I literally received a letter in the mail that said my loan had been satisfied, I never even made a payment. The dealership tried to cash the check, it bounced. I called USAA, and after two days and about 6 hours, no resolution. They would not give me the loan, which I had already been approved for. I escalated my case, and still no resolution. I wound up going to the dealership, and getting funding. This was a nightmare, and I will be moving as many of my accounts away from USAA. I feel completely ignored and mistreated as a loyal customer. Do better!!!

Spent over 19 hours on this claim, the adjuster Brian Casey is terrible. If you are assigned to him ask for a different adjuster.
Been dealing with a policy issue for over 9 hours without any resolve. While the company has been pretty good over the years, it seems like the customer service has gone downhill. Have talked to 6 different people that say they are going to do something but don’t. Such a travesty!
Not sure why they use safelite windshield service due to the fact that safelite creates more damage via scratches and dings than the cost of fixing the chip or windshield.

This is possibly the worst company to work with when it comes to insurance!, I was hit my an USAA insured driver on May 30th it’s is now Aug 23rd and I’m still having to deal with them. They are by far the worst I have to call to find out if anything has happened no one calls me and I have to push the adjuster to do things like reach out to my witness. They are an absolute joke!!!

We had an accident. The claims process is so complicated and there was no hope to get in contact with our claims representative, communication is completely terrible. I wish there insurance side of the company was as good as the banking side. We will be getting quotes with a different insurance company after this policy expires.

Open the auto insurance contact lines (both chat and phone) on Sundays. I think you should start with 4 hours. This should be a given since you claim to "serve military members". Think of all of the members who only have Sunday off to take care of business. It makes no sense, especially being headquartered in "Military City USA".
