Overall good experience. Make sure you get a document stating condition of machinery prior to leaving. Otherwise some staff may say you’re lying if you bring it back in the same condition you received it.

I have rented things from them dozens of times. Luckily i had good experiences before having any problems.. The best way to avoid problems is to make sure everything works well before you leave the store. Things like Chainsaws are prone to overheating and will often not run well. You need to make sure the saw blades are good before you leave because they aren't going to remove the rental charges if they don't know if you damaged the item. My worst experience with them was when i rented a roofing nailer. Their nailer cost me about $90 to rent, but it kept firing 2 or 3 nails with each trigger pull. I tried to fix the problem but ended up going to buy a roofing nailer from Harbor freight for about $200. I figured that if i showed them the receipt for the nailer i bought they would realize that theirs didn't cut it and refund the rental. Well they wouldn't and told me to email the supervisor, which i did but never followed up because spending more than 2 hours trying to get a $90 refund just isn't a good use of energy. These guys don't always take the time to inspect everything. If you want a high quality tool you have to look at the tool first. If it looks worn-out, maybe ask for another. Whatever you don't take something broken home and wait till it is due to be returned to raise an issue. While it isn't fair if you rented a broken tool and need to take it back immediately. Not later, but as soon as you realize there is a problem, or at least call them and let them know whats going on and why you can't exchange it right away. (At least then they have a time that it broke. Then maybe they can give you a replacement for the remainder of your rental time. But, if it is possible that you broke their tool and you want a refund on top of it, chances are that you won't get a refund.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at the San Antonio Culebra location. From trying to buy a power tool to door hardware, what should of been a 15 minute shopping trip turned well into an hour. I had to beg someone to assist me to unlock an item for me and pull additional stock from a top shelf. I finally tracked down Johnny to help, he seemed to be the only person to care. There were even other customers asking for his help while he was assisting me. After spending multiple shopping trips to this location something really needs to change. They need to figure out staffing, put more employees in the aisles to help out customers and provide them with better training and focus less on just the check out line.

Do not waste your time getting a Home Depot Consumer CC! Soooo many issues with it and Citibank, who they use! Terrible experience! Don’t do it!

I had an item not delivered and it took a week for someone from the store to call me back and rectify it. I called customer service and they even tried reaching out to them. Didn’t get any response until credit card services reached out before filing a report with account services

We generally like Home Depot however on our last visit we went through the self checkout and were very disappointed. They DO NOT provide any type of hand sanitizer. No pumps or wipes not even a paper towel to hold the hand scanner which is required to scan your items. So everyone that goes through the line gets to hold the same scanner and walk away with everyone's germs!! Thank you Home Depot for continuing to add to the possible spread of the Covid19!!! 6.28.20

if you want people to waste your time this is the place. this was my second attempt to purchase a patio door. waited in the door department for 30 minutes before i gave up and went to customer service. there were three other customers waiting at that department like myself. the cashier at the customer service told me, “oh that department leaves at 6pm” we’ll then why are you guys open till 7pm? how are customers supposed to know when a department closes shouldn’t it be the sa

Not one person in that store seems to realize there is a pandemic going on. Don’t even have wipes for the carts when you come in. Or wipes for the scanners at the touch screen checkouts, that everyone is touching. People should be at home, but instead they put on there ratty old legging and shorts, some flip flops and are buying flowers and paint. There were way more that 59 people just standing in line waiting to cash out. This is bad, Home Depot is not doing its part on Culebra and 1604 in San Antonio.
