It's been a while since I've been there. The quality seems to have gone downhill quite a bit. The food lacks the richness and complexity of flavor that I remember it having in the past. The sauce/gravy was thin and soupy. It didn't stick to the meat or vegetables as it should have. They were far superior to anything else that was available years ago. This trip was probably just slightly above average.

There have been a lot of improvements in the past three years. My personal favorite improvement is that you can now download the H‑E‑B app, and get your food delivered in about the same time as it takes to get a pizza delivered.
