Location is in a nice area connected to a coffee shop. Salon is clean and beautifully designed. Products used left my hair smelling amazing and made me feel like a million bucks. Bethany did an amazing color and cut to my hair. The blowout styling made me feel soo beautiful. They also helped me achieve my hair goals while staying in budget. Best customer service, thank you again to Bethany :)

The overall experience was great. My hair turned out great and the service was excellent. All of my questions were answered and any concerns I had regarding budget were addressed. I can honestly say they my hair color and has never looked or felt better.

Really liked the vibe of the place, loved the fact that it was connected to a cafe. I thought it was a smart concept. The design of the place gave New York vibes and the staff were so friendly.

I went in for a simple trim and Morgan was great!! He used a sea salt spray that may be my new favorite hair product for my waves. He made sure everything was perfect for my liking and gave me lots of good hair advice.

There's a unique level of care that is placed on your hair by the stylist! Literally, after walking out of the salon, and into Northstar mall, the sales representative at Sephora kept complementing my hair. Recommended she visit Mane and Company!

I was so impressed by this salon. It was my first time in and Ysa did the best job. All the ladies were so sweet and my haircut was amazing. If you need a razor cut for sure go to Ysa.

Would not recommend coming here. I booked a cut & blowout for long hair at the broadway downtown location for $125 with Alix, who is also the owner. I was told day of (two hours prior) that they changed my appointment location to the north star mall salon. Then when I arrived, they did not see me for almost 30 minutes and they changed my hairstylist to Audrey without informing me at any point. I was the only customer in the whole salon which now I understand why. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable the entire duration of my haircut. The worst part of all of this is at checkout they increased the price $75 so a $125 haircut & blowout turned to now a $200 haircut & blowout. Absolutely ridiculous. I also left a $20 tip for Audrey. After reviewing the screenshot I took for the confirmation appointment I realized the major price discrepancies that made no sense. The differences between lengths are approximately $20-$30...not $75. I accurately booked a haircut & blowout for long hair & anticipated a certain price at a specific location with Alix and got none of that. So I called the following morning & spoke to April who attempted to fix this issue but Alix did not want to originally refund me anything because I had "long and thick hair", which I have extremely thin long hair & Alix never handled my hair, so she made up a reason to not want to refund me. Obviously frustrated by all of this, I spoke to Alix directly who conveniently made excuses for price differences at her new location (that I wasn't booking at) and the experience of the hairstylist. Never was I made aware of pricing changes and there was a flat rate on the confirmation & booking info; however, Alix tried to tell me it says $125 & up, which it in fact did not. After many attempts to get Alix to understand where I am coming from she agreed to refund me only $50. I will not come back to this salon nor will I suggest this place to anyone. This is completely unprofessional to lie, provide misleading prices, and false advertising. I've always supported local businesses and never leave negative reviews but this time I felt an obligation to the give full transparency that I did not receive.

Hairdresser wasn't amicable, made zero effort to converse, it was a really depressing and awkward atmosphere. I felt uncomfortable the whole time. Hairdresser didn't ask if i liked the color before washing all of it off, didn't even show me the color she was going to mix before. I had to ask her. zero technique went into the dyeing process as she just slabbed the dye on my head. in result, different parts of my hair were darker and some lighter because my root area picks color faster. i felt like my hair was blotchy and she said she saw "dimension." When washing she didn't let me know what products she was using on my hair. Usually the wash part is my favorite part, but it was not relaxing at all. I don't even think she got all the product out of my hair bc my hair felt greasy in some parts. She left some dye spots on my face too. As for the cut, she basically chopped off all the length that i wanted to keep. I asked for long layers and it felt like she didn’t care how she was cutting it. she cut it really fast and cut it off in chunks. i’ve seriously never seen a hairdresser do that and i felt like i was gonna have a panic attack. she didn't show me know how much she was cutting off and ask my if i was ok with it. My hair feels super thin as well. Seriously regret coming here and even paying for this horrible service. I really tried not to lose it while i was there, but I seriously can’t believe y’all would treat a brand new customer like that.
