The store isn't too big, but still offers lots of nice Lego sets, from popular to limited edition products. But it seems that there are too many children and there are demo models, so many children come here to play. However, for this reason the staff cannot take care of all customers. So when we had to ask about the Lego sets we were interested in, the staff was quite confused and also preoccupied with a lot of things around.

This store is one of my favorites. The only Lego store for quite a distance, this is your go-to in San Antonio. Always well stocked and staffed by enthusiastic, and knowledgeable associates.

Applied for 2 positions at this location. Management and staff blew me off with dialogue consisting of "We'll give you a call" when all you see employees do is stand, watch merchandise, compromise sells, etc. I got a feeling from the bald short supervisor that he saw me as Incompetent. Soft careless represented management/ employees of Lego.

Very friendly staff, very kid centric with different interactive options for kids to try out various legos. Food court is nearby so took my boys to grab some hot dogs afterwards!

We are from South Texas and came on a vacation to San Antonio. Irvin was very helpful and very knowledgeable! My experience was off the scale, and would continue shopping here for legos! Thank you Irvin!

Upon walking in store my son and I were greated and told we had 20 min till store closed. I informed they it was my son's first time. I asked for a specific Lego set and the lady behind counter was rude and said can't you see we don't have the shelf is empty. Not only did my son look at her but heard her attitude as she continued to talk to other co worker who just had a upsetting look on his face. Well we will not be returning to this store. I'm my son as a first timer has now a lasting impression of lack of character from your employees and would rate this store 0 ⭐.

I’ve gone back and forth on this one, but I was miffed at my last visit.I was in town for a convention (as I live out of town) and carved the time out to drive over and visit, specifically to nab a “free with purchase” VIP item as I don’t get down often. I picked up several items and was going back and forth at a final one and ultimately decided to put it back while being one of only a few customers there and made my way to the counter. As I got to the counter I mentioned deciding to put something back within earshot and asked about the February VIP “free with purchase” as k didn’t know what it was. His response: “Oh it’s not that great it looks kinda dumb.” I pulled the VIP card out, then scanned and my total rang up and I threw my card in.After the total rang up I inquired about the “Free with purchase” and he said “oh you didn’t spend enough, you need to spend $75.00” I inquired about purchasing that aforementioned item I put down which would have put me over $75 had I grabbed it and the reply I got was “no it HAS to be in one transaction.” I walked out fairly upset. Now, admittedly I could have been more informed about my VIP criterium to receive that gift, but after conversations with several people from the LEGO community I was encouraged by multiple people this encounter is something the company would want to know about.I later tried another LEGO location in San Antonio and had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I would recommend the La Contera location if you’d like to visit a LEGO store in San Antonio.
