I had been to several other mechanics and spent quite a bit of money trying to fix my driver's side door and no other mechanics could fix it. They fixed my door in less than 10 minutes and didn't charge me anything. I highly recommend Jake and the whole team at Southwest Paint and Body. Thank you all for finally helping me fix it!

NEVER NEVER NEVER take your car here they charge you more than what they say originally..... they couldn't figure out out how to wire factory headlights when I brought it to them working already and tried to have me leave with it not done I had to use there tools and wire it myself after I paid them already. Worst shop I've ever been tooooo!!

I'M SO GLAD I TOOK MY CAR TO SOUTHWEST PAINT AND BODY, at 12500 Nacogdoches Rd.The estimated cost that Jake said it would be for my car's body repair work, stayed the same when the work was finished. Jake said it would be 5 to 7 days for the repair work to be completed. It took only 4 days. I am completely satisfied with the cost, the repair work, and the time it took to complete it. The estimate from a repair shop down the street from Southwest was much higher, with likely increases, and 2 or more weeks to finish. A new car dealer's estimate was more than twice of Southwest, with likely increases, and 2 weeks to a month to finish.SOUTHWEST IS THE BEST.Quality work for half the price, and less than half the time !!!Services: Painting

I took my truck in to have the hood painted due to it being faded and the whole experience turned into a nightmare.The body work I paid for was shoddy. I was told the hood would be stripped, blocked and painted. Another body shop confirmed it wasn't. There are deep sanding marks under the paint. The only way to fix this is a complete redo.There were no dents just fade but, bondo is obvious. The edges were barely feathered out and it's noticeable.I have to say I was okay with the paint match, otherwise it's just terrible. There is a couple areas with fish eye, two large areas (1' x 2') that have air bubbles that formed in the clear coat and overall the hood looks warped. There is also a 1/4" x 3" gouge in the back of the hood. Not to mention the orange peel...I took it back and gave them a chance to take care of it. I also added the tailgate so they would make a little money instead of it just being a comeback. Well, that was a mistake...The hood wasn't touched and the tailgate turned out worse than the hood. again with poor sanding/blocking (you could feel the warps). The tailgate opened and closed just fine when I dropped it off. The tailgate had to be forced open and would stay in a 45 degree position when I got it back. The hardware for the hinges that they put in wasn't right and I've since replaced with new.I couldn't stand the way the tailgate looked so I took it to another body shop and had it redone (it looks fantastic now). I'll be taking my hood to the same body shop. I found out the hood will now have to be replaced due to the body work being so bad. (cost effective)Through talking to everyone who will listen (some experts).I found that if you're getting your vehicle repaired at a body shop and aren't getting a huge payout from insurance, a lot of body shops will treat you like this or price you out completely.Southwest Paint and Body will not touch my vehicles again.

I had my 2016 4Runner repaired there after an accident with an uninsured driver. I ended up paying out of pocket about $4000 for the repair to my front fender, bumper, etc.Last month I unfortunately was hit by another driver, my car is in a different shop for the repair this time and when they tried to remove the bumper for inspection of the underlying parts they found out it was glued in place with some sort of epoxy.The bumper had to be ripped off and now replaced because of how it was improperly glued into place during the repair that Southwest Body & Paint did.Southwest Body & Paints response from Jeff one of the general managers was to flat out say they did nothing wrong. Jeff said it’s my fault since I didn’t catch it and it’s been 10 months. He asked if there were any other issues, at one point he suggested that maybe I had taken my bumper off and glued it back into place…!Stay away, literally go to any other body shop in town.Also when I was getting my car fixed here 10 months ago my car was broken into in their lot and they said they had no video because their system was down….Very shady place, living up to the stereotype of slimy mechanics here.

These guys are AMAZING! We had my daughters hood and roof repainted because of really bad sun damage! They had our truck painted in less than a week. A well known dealership referred them and one of their sales guys told us that when they are busy that use Southwest because they are reasonable and do a great job! There were also SA police cars all around that they were working on and repairing. They trust them too! Jake was the person that helped us and he was very honest and trustworthy!!!! I can't say enough about the way that we were treated and the quality of work that was done!!!! Great people!Service: Painting

If you want a horrible paint job and and horrible service this is the place for you. Took my truck there and paid cash and they did a horrible job, took it back for them to make it right and it looks just as bad as the first time. Took my vehicle based on a recommendation from Car Pro, because I completely trust Car Pro. I will continue to trust Car Pro but I wouldn't send my worst enemy to SW Paint and Body. I came in on Thursday but Jake said bring it by tomorrow and you can take it home that same day. Find out Jake was leaving for vacation the next day but "don't worry Tony will take care of it" - came in the next day to find out from Tony that Jake hadn't even order the part. So I left and had to reschedule for another day - which I did, but then the part arrive but no one had painted it. Another day and trip down the gutter. Finally get it done on the third trip only to find out that Jake charges 3% extra if paying by credit card, which he failed to mentioned. His excuse, "well they charge us so you have to pay" forget the morally ethical part of telling me in advance. The final cherry on this dude of a business, they forgot or didn't know how to hook all my sensors back together - so I had to come back another day. It's my experience to never do business with this company or get everything in writing.

Took my 29 year old Ford Ranger in for a new paint job. Jake Collins said it really didn't need a full paint job but a wet sand and buff. So he talked me out of a much more expensive job. He assured me that the final result would impress me. Wow, I was not only impressed but have subsequently received several offers from people wanting to buy it. He said it would take 3 days but it was finished in 2. Jake kept me updated and I was very pleased with the overall experience. Highly recommend.

Absolute scam, this review has long been overdue. I use to work next door to this place, at take 5 oil change. I had a 2007 mustang gt that got hit the other day at work by a box truck while parked. My turn signal had been ripped off and my rim was scratched. I specifically told them I didn't want the bumper repaired, I wanted it replaced because the turn signal is held in by clips that are made with the bumper so I knew it wouldn't sit flush if they repaired it like they wanted to. Long story short I got my car back only to see the bumper was "repaired" (turn signal wasn't flush and the cherry on top three months later the rigged clip they put on broke) AND MY RIM WAS STILL SCRATCHED. When bringing these details to Jake he gave me two options either they pay me 150 and I go buy the rim myself or I let them buy the rim and call me to have the rim installed. My first mistake was entrusting this shop with my car the next was agreeing to this man calling me back when my rim arrives they kept that money and I was left with a scratched rim and a turn signal that I had to duct tape to my car. 0 out of five stars bring your vehicle here if you want it to look the same way you brought it in, all banged up.

Seriously a hidden gem! I was referred to this shop by my friend and her husband, who own an auto shop. I spoke with Jake, and he gave me an estimate over the phone to paint my car door that had deep scratches and a dent. They got it done in 3 days, were reasonable in their pricing, and had great customer service. My car looks literally perfect. They went above and beyond and also cleaned it inside and out. It’s beautiful. I will be referring all my friends and family to this shop and coming back for more work. Thank you so so much!

Had my car for 6 weeks for something that was only supposed to take a couple weeks. They kept "discovering" things. Final straw was a week before we got the car back they "discovered" something that my husband specifically told them about when we dropped off the car. Within a few weeks the whole front end was falling apart. Where pieces didn't fit they just kinda......glued it?? I've used the max on my rental and they don't give lenders so I guess we are SOL. Do not bring your car here.ETA. Took the vehicle back. They are blaming us for their shoddy job saying that we hit something. Even though they all agreed they couldn't find any evidence of any impact. So we somehow hit something hard enough to rip our bumper off but miraculously left no evidence. Don't bring your car here.

Such great service from everyone at Southwest Body and Paint!! Very professional and courteous. Kept me informed of the service they were doing on my SUV. Completed the job early as well. I have a pearl paint and they made sure to take time and care so that all of it matched perfectly. I will recommend them to my family and friends. Thanks Jake for making a bad time better.
