The staff has been very responsive to my mother’s needs. Eric and Luis, nurses treated mother with respect and compassion. Otilia Jimenez was wonderful to mother, always cheerful. Special thanks to Marcus, Nereida Rosas and Romeo . They tailored the OT and PT to meet her needs. Thank you. Ted

Texas medicaid is welcome here for long-term services. The place is very nice, studios equipped with mini-fridge and microwave 1 person per studio rooms with rear doors to the patios residents are free to go out to enjoy the sun and weather The staff is very attentive and friendly, the food is good and they always make an effort to pamper the residents. The only thing I would add to this place would be electronically controlled access at the entrance, controlled by the reception to prevent any misfortune from happening when a resident leaves. THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN LEAVE THE BUILDING DUE TO EXTREME DEMENTIA OR ESCAPE If the resident leaves, they only give you 24 hours to transfer them to another place. My mother (with dementia) went out for a walk and returned one an hour later and no one noticed until she returned alone, thank God she is fine but many things could have happened in that time. This will surely happen with another person so they have to work on prevention, the solution to preventing them from leaving is not expulsion from the place, expulsion should be the consequence. But what is the prevention????Texas medicaid is welcome here, The place is very nice, studios equipped with mini-fridge and microwave 1 person per studio rooms with rear door to the patios residents are free to go out to enjoy the sun and climate, the staff is very attentive and friendly The food is good and they always make an effort to pamper the residents. The only thing I would add to this place would be electronically controlled access at the entrance, controlled by the reception to prevent any misfortune from happening when a resident leaves. My family member was here for a few weeks and every time I visited I was pleased with everything. The facility and the room was always clean. I appreciate housekeeping staying on top of everything. Mrs Cervantes was my family members favorite person, she always took the time to be respectful and listened even if it’s not her job to do so. ❤️

There's a lot of hard workers in this building. The extra amenities are nice and help with feeling closer to home. The court yards offer a safe place for your loved one to get fresh air with some nice landscaping.

I am writing this post to commend Sorrento Rehab and Nursing as I have been working and I transferred from a sister facility. I see the compassion, and empathy of care given to the residents. The relationship the employees have with families, is heartwarming. The attentiveness of the Management staff, and their availability to help. I was welcomed warmly, and made to feel as if I belonged. I look forward to being apart of this team!

Sorrento is a beautiful facility and a wonderful environment for those who need some tender love and care. The rehab team is one of the best I've worked with! The nurse staff is attentive and works with a sense of urgency to keep residents medical condition stable. The receptionist is very friendly and always greets with a smile. Positive outcomes all the way around
