Amazing store!!! The owners are such a delight to visit with. If you are looking for wonderful and fabulous items that you can't find anywhere else, this is a must stop!! There are new items coming in all the time and I literally can't go a whole month without stopping by .

Sadly, it's true that Sloan Hall does not pay their suppliers. Currently, they blame the pandemic but this pattern was established well before anyone ever heard of Covid 19. If you are in wholesale, do not ship them on terms. Payment before shipping is the only way to do business with them.

Visited Sloan hall for rhe first time today to buy my girlfriend a gift. The two men working there, who I presume were the owners, not only had no interest in helping me, but seemed bothered that I walked in. That's cool. I purchased elsewhere and I'll never come back. Adios.

While jewelery is not the only thing these guys sell, you will be able to find some piece of jewelery for anyone at this place. I cannot go in here without falling in love with something. It is a go-to for gift shopping. They have the most unique selection of greeting cards, and let's be real, it is so hard to find a decent non-cheesy, non-Maya Angelou type greeting card these days. I think what I love most is it's tidiness. You can tell that they put thought into each and every item on display, everything has a purpose and fits within the store's theme. There's just not crap everywhere, which I think is a common frustrating detail in other gift stores. Why should you have to dig and sift through piles of nonsense to find something GREAT? The guys at Sloan-Hall get it! Everything they have out is great, it's just choosing between the greatness that's difficult.

I hate doing this but I have been so upset this last time I visited Sloan hall just cus the ple who work there are so snobby. I live in Los Angeles now and I worked at Nieman Marcus in Beverly Hills so I know about POSH! But did not expected from my place back home...worse part I took a friend with me to show his product that sells like crazy here in L.A. and I felt embaraced by the way he was treated! Its ashame cus we have so much friends incommon but REALLY! There is no need for that kind of attitude...felt sad, its a pretty store but nothing compare to what we have here and I have never felt that here:(...it's truly ashame!

First, Sloan Hall has moved down the street into the beautiful old mobile station at the corner of Broadway and Austin Highway. The new space is fantastic, slightly larger and with more natural light and charm. The new store features the same exceptional selection of cards, home gifts, jewelry and skin products with an expanded selection of furniture and other home furnishings. If you have not been into Sloan Hall in a while (or ever), you owe it to yourself to stop by the new store. You'll be glad you did.

Located in Alamo Heights, Sloan-Hall is one of the best gift boutiques in SA. If you are looking for gift cards that don't have the standard Hallmark cheeze factor, then head over here to browse an extensive collection of unique finds. This is the only store where I have been able to find the entire line of Diptyque candles, along with other French candles that I cannot order online because they melt on the way. The jewelry here is on the expensive side, but I have collected some pieces that can be kept forever. The store carries one of a kind necklaces and rings with unique stones. The soaps and perfumes are also hard to find brands, and are a real treat for a hostess gift. If you are struggling to find a gift for someone, or if you are looking for some retail therapy this place will cheer you up.
