Today had to be one of the worst, if not the worst, customer care experienced. After ordering fish at Molina's, inside of this Shell station on this Good Friday. At checkout, I hand the young lady my ticket and she goes, "I don't need that." she walks off a bit and then proceeds. I'm thinking they had a procedure for quality assurance on their end, that been cued from bar staff. I had to readjust a bit in order free a hand to grab my own drink that remained on her side of the counter, but thought, no biggie... it's a gas station, I can get it.. she did go, "sorry..." I walked out no problem... However, it wasn't until half way across the lot that I hear a yell from a helpful bystander, saying, "HEY!" pointing to the door where I see both cashiers outside flagging me over:
Clerk 1, "You didn't pay for that popper!', referring to a pepper popper that had ordered in the plate. The entire scene was embarrassing to say the least, accusatory as if I had stolen something. As a licensed clergy and licensed pyschotherapist with clients en route, this scene was NOT OKAY! A risk to my license with such claims against the community standards, not to mention potentially negatively impacting my business. This matter could have been handle far differently with relative ease, but this staff chose a poor engagement instead.
Me: I state, "I offered to hand you my ticket and you said you didn't need anything from me."
Clerk 1: , "well I didn't know you had ordered a popper!"
Once at the counter, and with a bit more PRIVACY, I made my grievance known, "I do not appreciate your attitude either." She became more indignant, "I did not have an attitude." ,
Me: I felt an attitude from you, I don't appreciate it.
Her: Well that would have come out of my paycheck... I was trying to tell you that
I let her know that I did not need to know that information, and thanked her for the poor attitude that had still had, and justifying her own clerical errors at my expense. So I cont: and you also had an attitude when I left out of here," as she was less than pleasant, dismissive, not wanting to accept my ticket nor bag my items, or failed in negligence, motives cannot be proven here. She replied, "No I did not have an attitude before you left." Me, "Yes you did."
The 2nd cashier chimed in, and rather than being the professional 3rd party voice of reason as what appeared to be the more seasoned of the two, and the one actually wearing a "Shell uniform," as opposed to the young girl in the white tee checking me out, also shocked me, with intervening on her behalf instead of de-escalating and ushering us into resolve, says, "WELL IF YOU DON'T LIKE OUR ATTITUDE HERE YOU CAN LEAVE! AND DON'T COME BACK!!!" I was shocked that she escalated this to that as her next step, asking the security guard at the door, "CAN YOU PLEASE ESCORT HER OUT OF HERE?"
I can say that I am thankful for the amazing human being, the guard that held space with me, allowing me to feel both seen and heard, as he had frankly done upon initial greeting when I had walked in as well. After hearing and witnessing all that he had, he calmly and empathically stated the next steps that I could take for resolve, suggesting that I could come back in the morning and speak with Management.
After my last session, I did walk back over to speak with the evening attending security guard. Her name was Officer A. Lopez, and gathered more information, including the kind guard's name, Mr. Mata She gave me the name of the manager likely to be present tomorrow, BECKY.
Overall, this was just a TERRIBLE display today!
And on this Good Friday, I'd like to support minorities/black women everywhere as my RESPONSIBILITY for public awarenes

First time at a gas station / meat market /convenience store / grill restaurant. Ha! I mean points have to awarded for the use of space! Good service too. The ladies were so nice. No issues at all. Now the food was...well it looked great! Just wasn't executed well. The taste was there though. I got the street tacos, which was 3 regular sized tacos on white corn tortillas. They grilled up the onions and a jalapeño fresh. They added some oil, and 'cooked' the tortillas. But they just took the meat out the warmer and put it in the shells in the container. That was whack. The red salsa was good. The green salsa was not. The actual food was disappointing because the tortillas fell apart soon as I bit into em. A small thing of beans came with it- I don't mess with beans like that. The order came to $10 and some change.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!WHILE Becky STOOD AT THE COUNTER YELLING AT and DIMINISHING THE DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE, I COULD NOT REMEMBER MY Wells Fargo PIN NUMBER. So, I SWITCHED TO MY Capital One credit card, AND SHE CHARGED ME A HIGHER AMOUNT- ALMOST 5 DOLLARS MORE! I have both transactions listed as a decline and the approved amount. I wonder how many people have fallen for this scam. I did not make the situation worse by engaging but chose to use this platform. And, I have had bad days as an employee, too. Yet, we have to do better when dealing with the public. We choose the positions we accept as employment.GOD demands us to be better.I will be filing a report on the situation.

I usually love this gas station: location, cs experience you usually get and the hot food that is served inside. 4 stars for the food bcse there is a mini restaurant inside this gas station... I could raise my overall stars if it was not for nasty csr BECKY who acts as the nastiest, meanest element of the group. BECKY believes that patrons should pay for add-ons that normally and usually come with services one gets at any gas station. Next she will start billing the air we breathe or the use of a bathroom. Who is she?

This has got to be the most ghetto feeling place I have ever been to. We walked our dog first after being on a drive for the last couple hours made sure he got to pee. Then we went to go use the restroom ourselves and the door is locked with two armed security thugs outside on bicycles and a sign saying that only paying customers can use the bathroom and the the restrooms remain locked and have to be unlocked by the employees. We obviously need gas after this drive and would have bought drinks but this place just feels so ghetto. If y'all are really losing so much money by people going in there and using the bathroom, then you're probably in the wrong business.

Definitely do not stop here if stopping off after driving awhile. This place is not good at all, bathrooms are only for paying customers, and there are multiple security officers patrolling here. If that doesn’t say what kind of place this is, I do not know what does.
