My 4 year old nephew developed a fear of getting his hair cut out of nowhere. We sat him in 4 other chairs at different places before taking him to Sharkey's, and he cried and moved so much they couldn't cut his hair. We were pleasantly surprised that he was able to get his hair cut here. It was such a relief, and we'll definitely be going back.

I took my 3 year old today for his a haircut it was his first time getting a cut in a salon and he is not a fan off getting a cut by any means , but the staff at this location made the experience amazing!!!!! They were extremely patient and comforting through out the entire process!! Would def recommend this place for kids and their staff!! ?Legend

It was OK.
NOT Good , not bad.
The environment looks welcoming but the staff is not. There is no greeting, or welcoming atmosphere. My daughters haircut was fine, but Olga was not as welcoming or friendly as we hoped for a toddler's haircut. There was no smile, no kindness, NOTHING. Same goes for the rest of the staff. This place needs to desperately improve customer service and interpersonal skills .

I took my 2 year old for a bang trim. My daughter was not thrilled to get in the car, although I thought she would be. The person that cut her bangs was patient and tried to calm her by putting on a movie. She helped me talk to my daughter to help calm her. It took both of us to get her to sit still. In the end my daughter got her bangs cut, a lollipop and a balloon. Thank you to the lady who was kind and patient with my daughter while cutting her bangs.

Almost everyone is great here except for Olga! My son is autistic and the very first time our normal stylist (Susan) wasn’t able to make it we had to be rescheduled with Olga. She looked annoyed & frustrated with my son. She also did not have god blending and the haircut overall was probably the worst haircut my son has ever gotten. We booked her one more time when Susan was not available but we desperately needed my son’s haircut. I’m not sure if the first one or the second cut by Olga was worse. My 2 stars was specifically for Olga. Olga never has a welcoming spirit. Which is weird why work somewhere you look miserable. I don’t understand why this company keeps her after all the complaints made against her. I rate Susan 5 stars and commend her for her patience and understanding. I think my son is just very comfortable with Susan & we appreciate that she talks to him like a human being unlike Olga tested him. Susan gets booked pretty fast and honestly Olga is usually the one who has availability so that should tell you why she usually always has openings. If i could do a separate review entirely on Susan i would but rated her in the booking app.

Would not recommend. We went to see if we could get my sons hair cut. Stylist that was there was very rude. She was the only one so I don't know if she was just tired or what but it was a huge turn off. We were walk-ins so I expected to wait but in addition being told not to expect to be seen for at least an hour and a half, we were also told they won't do anything lower than a 2 for fades unless you schedule an appt. We ended up taking our son up the road to Fineline Barbers. They did an excellent job and the customer service was great.
