Calling this a drug store is a bit of a loose term. There are vitamins and OTC medications, but there are also some kitchen supplies, foodstuffs and souvenirs. It's a rather strange assortment of goods. There are also toiletries. Quite a selection of hats and stuffed animals as well as traditional Mexican candy. They do have a selection of cold drinks which is good if you're hot on the Riverwalk.

We found plenty of souvenirs for friends and family in addition to some medicinal supplies that we were looking for. There were a few items that were on clearance that made good gifts. There is even wine in the back. The employees were helpful and friendly.

Have you ever been in the middle of flossing when all of a sudden the last string of floss exits the dispenser and you're left with no floss? That was the horror I experienced during my work trip. "Why didn't I bring backup floss!?!?!?!?!?" Kidding, who brings backup floss, maybe you do, if so, kudos to you. Enter the RiverCenter Drug Store inside the RiverCenter mall. I refused to pay $4.99 for a single pack of my favorite floss from the hotel store, so I headed to the mall to find a lower price and found it at this store for $2.67. Still overpriced than the usual $0.99 I find at Target but cheaper than $4.99 so I was happy. And, no spend limit to use a credit card like the small kiosk inside the mall who said I had to spend at least $4 to pay for my floss with them. The drug store is large with lots of stuff so if you don't feel like walking to the Walgreens or CVS this is a great option. And yes, I just wrote about buying floss for my first 2018 review! :) What a way to start the year!
