This bank is incredibly disorganized and deceptive in their practices. I can’t say whether it’s by design or they are simply disorganized and poorly managed. I was not informed about fees despite asking explicit questions at sign up. After signing up, an email was sent with all the penalties outlined. Also, moving money between this bank and my other bank has become impossible. I got so frustrated that I gave up and so they kept my money in their bank which is pretty ideal for them. Again, not sure if this is by design but it’s highly suspect. After endless frustrations, I went in to simply close my accounts and it cost me almost $80 in fees just to take my own money back! Call me crazy, but this feels very predatory. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

I’ve been with RBFCU for years and being on the road a lot, I use many of their branches and I always feel welcome. That being said, I’ve had the most distasteful experience at the Austin Highway branch. I was treated very poorly on a simple matter (which Frost Bank handled in two minutes). It appeared to me that the Manager Michelle didn’t want to be bothered from her phone and had the door guy politely shoo me off. I didn’t get angry until I went to Frost and was treated so efficiently.I called customer service and Karen was absolutely wonderful. She took personal interest in my issue and said that she was so sorry for the inconvenience and hoped my next visit would be better. She said she would forward to her manager and asked if I would like a call back. I said yes.So guess who called? Michelle! At this time, she could have said the same thing that C/S Karen said and the matter would have been put to rest…but no, she defended and argued and would not concede any point. She did her best to tell me how smart and important she is and how I just don’t know how the world works. It was like talking to a jackass. I’m sure she’s good at some things, but not representing a proud Texas institution like RBFCU to its many diverse members.I am sure the tellers and other staff members at this location are what we have come to expect at RBFCU, friendly, respectful and helpful. They are probably great to work with. It’s a shame they get tarnished by Michelle’s uppity attitude.

The drive through is now all ATM's, however, when I had a question, a teller came online. Definitely different. Not sure I love it.

Teller 792 is rude. Hopefully they can make adjustments with the tellers before this branch goes down. Customer service is the key. Without us you won’t last especially in this area. Good luck to management!

Everytime I come here there is always only one teller, and the greeter just sits there while there are 5 or 6 patrons in line. Totally unsat. You need to restructure the use of the greeter or simply do away with the position. It serves no one, if the teller line doesn't move. You need to hire some more people.
