9:30 am Monday morning: only 2 drive-thru tellers are open (after 2 bad experiences I’m not even trying to use them - in the past they were very slow and inefficient, long lines are proving that nothing has changed in their service); one ATM has a line of 4 cars, another one is showing a Windows screen and asking to restart.
Since this is the only location nearby I cannot make a cash deposit and have to go to work. This is the first time my account was overdrawn because of the automatic payment I didn’t expect to go through earlier, all I wanted is to put money on my account and couldn’t do it in a quick and efficient manner. For this few negative cents the bank is going to charge me a large dollar amount, but I cannot charge the bank any fees by making my day uncomfortable and being unreliable when I needed the convenience. Going to stop supporting this business and keep other local bank cards. RBFCU has been nothing but problematic for me.

Tried to open a business account today for my business because the builder has an account here and I want to make it easier to deposit large checks from them. The online lady who helped me was very rude, dry in humor and very difficult to deal with. The scanner was broken so I couldn’t submit the id so they moved us to another room where the scanner worked. She wanted my wife and I to first open savings accounts individually even though we are obviously married and both are names are on the business documents. However she said we could open a joint business account. I didn’t understand that logic but who am I except just another guy. So we proceeded. Then she tells me that because my EIN lists the business name twice and the SOS document only list it once that I would need to contact the IRS to change the name on my EIN. Crazy because I have other accounts from other banks using these documents with no problem. To me it felt like they are a “NO” bank with poor customer service. My business isn’t huge but we do 2M per year. I’ll not waste my time opening an account here because I guarantee if this is my first experience it won’t be the last that’s similar. Life is too short to give my money to rude and difficult banks. Thanks anyway. DONE

I've walked into the RBFCU at Bandera and 1604 at 12:54 pm. to open an account since I've heard good things about them, and the lady up front told me "unfortunately we just took our last appointment today." I can't believe this. It's not even 1pm, and they are not able to help. I'm retired military and moved less than two miles from them. If they don't have enough staff, maybe they are not as strong financial institution as I thought they were.

I've been a customer for about 8 years, and have loved their service. I used them to refinance my mortgage, and had a great experience with them. The shared branching is awesome when im traveling and need to get ATM access. Kudos for doing great by your customers.

My wife's bank is RBFCU and it's always some problem or another. We had to drive to 3 just to find a working ATM to make a deposit after hours. "Temporarily out of service" implies that it's not permanent but it seems they always have some problem.Today I went to make a deposit for my wife who was at work 1st at the UTSA BLVD and I10 location by Costco and of course "Out of order"I go to Bandera/1604 and I deposit $500 and it gives back $150 and says it had a "Temperary Malfunction" or some such and asks how much was deposited so it can print a correction receipt. I start to type $500 and it just spits out saying .50 cents. So I got $150 total back and used the second ATM to deposit $120.Now we have to find time during business hours which already suck and sort this mess out out.I keep telling my wife to find another bank but stubbornness prevails I guess. My advice, use Chase. Had them since I was a Washington Mutual customer and sure they have their issues I'm sure. But I have never had one in nearly 20yrs.

This bank made me lose $1,700. From lack of education to their employees and communication amongst their company. I tried to resolve it multiple times however no one was held accountable and I kept getting the run around as if this was never going to be made right. I will never recommend this bank to anyone I know and I will no longer be doing business with them. I work hard for my money and this company has been taking that very lightly and I don’t think anyone in my situation would appreciate that. I want to give my business to bank whom looks out for my best interest and whom has integrity.

This bank use to be good but now I'm about to close my account they will not notarize my paper even though I bank with them because the person I came with does not bank with them but the paper is to get my kids into school so therefore they do not support free education

I was the sixth person in line when I arrived. There were three tellers open and another who was trying to setup her station. I was provided good friendly customer service. The line went pretty fast. I was just there to change bills. Their policy is to deposit the cash into your account then withdraw it breaking the bills into smaller denominations.

I wouldn't bank here. They keep sending alexander cantu's mail to my address. I've returned it via the mail, I've gone to this branch in person to inform staff that they have the wrong address and to fix it and nothing is done. Staff aren't engaged and don't take initiative when a non customer is telling them a fact about a bad address.

I opened my account here in college a few years ago. Have been extremely satisfied with this bank since. Anything I need, I know I can rely on RBFCU.
