The woman that takes my blood is amazing at her job, and very friendly. She remembered me from the last time, and makes the proses a enjoyable experience. I can’t remember her name, but this is the location I will use from now on!

Poor Customer Service—
When a patient informs the office he has no insurance (at both appts, since he was rescheduled the first appt) and they wait to offer a “discount” till AFTER he pays, it’s clear they are just trying to make $$$.
I called to dispute the bill (when it went from $181 to $344 for blood tests!?!) and was then given details about how to obtain the discount…with no discount or break given.
Very disheartening.

I recently visited this clinic with my 3-year-old and was extremely disappointed with the experience. We had been waiting on the floor outside the clinic when my child got up to use the hand sanitizer. A staff member approached us with an incredibly rude attitude, instructing us that children must remain seated and not move around. When I reassured her that we understood, she continued to complain and even threatened that we would be asked to leave if my child did not remain still.
For a clinic that provides services for children, there seems to be a lack of understanding about the behavior of young kids. They cannot be expected to stay still like "sticks," especially during long waits. Moreover, there are far more respectful ways to communicate with parents, and the staff's demeanor was completely unacceptable.
Considering the high costs of lab services, it is disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism. I strongly urge management to review their employees’ approach to communicating with patients and their families. Perhaps taking a look at surveillance footage or gathering feedback from others in the waiting room could highlight these issues.
It's unfortunate that receiving respectful and compassionate care seems like a privilege nowadays. I hope changes are made to ensure that no other families have to endure such an unpleasant experience.
Secondly, my daughter left with no band after they took out blood. It was bleeding and bleeding. They were also arguing with another client about payment in front of everyone which lead to other staff also getting involved to argue their way down to one client. Worse place ever. They
took the calmness out of all of us.
Couldn’t put a zero! If not I will would

Patty need to go back to training . She claimed she was a manager but I can't believe they would put someone that unprofessional in charge. Don't be food by her fake personality she really doesn't want to help you and can't wait for you to leave.

Having made an appointment, my wait time was negligible. Quickly in — quickly out!

Quest says they take walk ins but apparently they all have different cut off times. I went to 2 different ones. The 1st one said they stoped taking walk ins but go to Bandera because they close at 5. I drove over there and arrived 30 mins before they close. There was 1 person in the waiting room. I signed in and literally within a minute of signing in the lady comes out and says they don’t take walk ins at the end of the day, that’s just for appointments. Ok I could understand if you were swamped, but no one was there. Also there is no posting stating a time for walk in cut offs. I tried calling too before I drove over there and no one answered the phone! There should be a sign posted about walk in times on the website! They also need to answer their phone!

This place is a dystopian dark comedy.
After they took my specimen for a drug test, I washed my hands, and Elizabeth yelled at me for doing so. "She threatened not to do the test and to call my employer." For not following directions. Whatever. I am cleaning my hands.
Then, when signing the "chain of custody" electronically, I asked to read what I was signing.. I was told, " I am being difficult, and if I didn't sign, they were going to call the cops." After demanding to read the document, another employee Patty told Elizabeth she wanted a copy of my documents/personal information.
Is Quests' company policy not to let people wash their hands after peeing for a drug test? Is it company policy not to let people read what they are signing? Is it company policy for an employee to make an extra copy of patients' personal information? I think patients have a right to know.

Quest Diagnostic on Wurzbach and Bandera road has always been my favorite place to go, its close to where i live and the team there are fun to communicate with but also very professional in the jobs they do, I myself use to be a phlebotomist so naturally i watch their every move and they are careful and show compassion when dealing with their patients. I will continue to come to this location when lab work is needed.

Wish I could not have even gone one star Patty was the one that tried today at 4:30pm mind u towards closing time she stated I was lucky to get in as a walk in I proceeded to tell her my doc was 9mins away so came for the convince since I literally live 30 mins away. Anywho she asked which arm and tries to draw blood then proceeds to fish she’s like sorry I said I don’t mind I just know I’ll have a huge bruise then she asks if I was hydrated. Mind you all I drink is water. I ask her to try other arm but she clearly got offended when I used the term fish cuz she repeated it back to me and said no go home hydrate. IT WAS CLOSING TIME AND SHE DIDNT WANNA DO HER JOB AND FAILED AT ATTEMPT TO WITHDRAW BLOOD. Furthermore no way to get a human or in touch with a manager to further escalate and address my experience at this Bandera location. She was rude and condescending to say the least.

It was very fast and efficient. Everyone was professional and had a great attitude. Make an appointment for fast service. If you have an elderly parent going here please help them out and make them an appointment. You can make an appointment through their website or google maps. I found the actual website to be easier and more user friendly just make sure to double check that you select an appointment time at your intended location as all locations are listed. (I needed a specific location). Check in is easy. You can just click the link that they send you in the reminder text (sent a few hours before appointment) and it automatically checks you in when you arrive. There is a TV screen (similar to pharmacies) that shows you where you are in line. I skipped the entire line because I had an appointment.
