I came in today to get a lease confirmed as well as to get some content of the units. Tyra the assistant manager was the sweetest person I’ve ever worked with at a property. She was beyond helpful and understanding.

My family and i been here since it opened and requested for my very high back porch to have steps and it wasn't approved. My son broke his arm regarding the high back porch. I asked to transfer and was told i wouldn't have to pay a transfer and now it's going to take over $3000 to transfer to another unit.

Honestly if it weren’t for the front desk girl! I would have put 5 stars. She is lazy and refuses to help , throws attitude and has zero knowledge of her job. I’m thankful for the other staff!

Long story short: roaches, overpriced, you won’t get your deposit back and heavy crime.Roaches:I have never in my life experienced a roach infestation like living at Pradera. The SECOND DAY after we moved in, we found our first roach. It doesn’t matter how clean you keep your place. It got so bad in the summer that pest control could not come out for a month due to the high number of requests. All kinds of roaches too (big and small). One even flew on my face while laying in bed and that was the final straw.Overpriced:Self-explanatory.Deposit:When we moved in, the deposit was $700 but we heard it went up to 1 months rent regardless of your credit. We didn’t get any of our deposit back and even had to pay an additional $150 at move out. The home was spotless. We spent days cleaning it up but it didn’t matter. Make sure you request an itemized receipt of all charges and proof that things were done (carpet cleaning, etc).Heavy crime:The surrounding area is pretty but there is a lot of crime in Alamo Ranch. The neighbors section of the ring doorbell app constantly had crime reports nearby. There were also people shooting guns and crossing through the soccer field behind some of the homes to enter into the neighborhood. We personally never had anything stolen or any issues with crime but some of our neighbors did.Other: The kitchen is pretty small in the 2-story homes. We did enjoy our time here (minus the roaches) just because it was our first “house” after living in apartments so the space was nice. However, I would not live there again even if it was free just due to the roaches and the shadiness of the management when it came to the deposit/move out.

Beautiful clean gated community! Staff is very friendly. Quiet neighborhood, definitely a family and pet friendly community. They have a pretty nice gym that’s open 24/7. Good size pool, great area to bbq with the propane grills provided. Nice sitting areas to enjoy the nice weather with friends and family. Love the community center! They have a full size kitchen , entertaining areas , and good size conference room. They also have indoor and outdoor restrooms. An outdoor shower and an area to bathe your pets. One thing I think they really need is a park for kids. There’s only a dog park which is great but a playground for kids would really be awesome. Since the pool can’t be used year round. Other than that, it’s perfect! All the shopping centers and restaurants are literally minutes away.

My car has been stolen, my home broken into and after nearly 10 months we still don't have the gate fixed. we pay for yard maintenance and i have 7 types of weeds. so please find another place to live!!!

I would love to give a higher rating but I can’t. The gates are STILL broken. Pest control doesn’t do a good job. The office is terrible with answering the phone. Now that Brooke is gone I’m concerned about how things may change for the worse. Will there be more or less community events? The landscape needs to be update around most of the homes to include mine. Last but not least, why isn’t there a park for children and basketball courts ? I don’t have small kids but there are plenty here with nothing to do.With cost of this rent, the owners need to put more money into their investment.

Fine-ish houses, there were guns fired in the park behind the houses and there were problems with the pool (dirty/broken/closed) and the gate was always open, making it unsafe (lots of cars stolen and random people in the community).We had an okay experience until we moved out. We bought a home, the staff congratulated us, told us what the termination fee was (over $5000) which we paid. We paid to have the house professionally cleaned, left it spotless.We never got our security deposit back, then 6 months later we get a bill for over *$15k* charging us for rent after we moved out. Called 6 people, left messages, no one picked up (as usual) and no one has responded.

Unbelievably bad experience. We moved out in February, and it’s now July and I still haven’t received my security deposit when it was promised to be on its way from the management team. I then received a bill for $15k for 7 months of rent that came after my confirmed move out date. I have called and emailed the management team every day, and NO ONE ever responds. I never leave reviews but this seems to be my last resort.

Quick easy painless moving experience! We have been to multiple apartments and had lots of horrible experiences. Homes are beautiful and well taken care of. The staff is super nice and helpful.

The staff never followed up with me so I could moved in. I was ready to move into this place the same day I toured it but couldn't even get set up for a tour. It's a shame because the houses seem nice but the staff could use a better follow up system in place.

We gave had a few maintenance issues but the maintenance staff is very friendly all the time and the neighborhood is very quiet and residents are for the most part very friendly!

The community is nice but my move in experience was not great. My unit was dirty, walls were smudged, nail holes in every room and i found a baby bottle from the last resident in the kitchen sink. Unsettling experience for me, unfortunately.
