I just left this pilot and I have to say I’ve never been disrespected this bad. A white guy by the name of Steven had the nerve to ask me if I was fruity as I ordered my banana backwoods. I was speechless! I held back any disrespect towards the gentleman named Steven assisting me with my transaction. It was so awkward I had to return to the store a second time because I was so lost in the moment I forgot to grab what I needed initially. As a truck driver I would never want to experience this again at a truck stop. When I come into these establishment’s it’s strictly professional and I’m spending a lot of company money here on diesel, def and other merchandise . As a straight black man I feel way more than violated I feel abused. What made him ask me out of all people?? Being black with dreads couldn’t be the reason is it. Im not sure but this has to stop. Hopefully Pilot Flying J can deal with this sexual harassment and allow me to get the closure I deserve in this situation. It’s not right. It feels like being straight these days is a crime and someone is always testing me. I shouldn’t have to go through this at work or anywhere else. Another employee by the name of Charles was standing right there and witness the disrespect. I informed him I would be filling a corporate complaint for sexual harassment and if PILOT FLYING J Corporate reaches out to him, tell the truth. He said he would keep his word.

They are not cleaning showers required still waiting for more than 30minutes. WOW DIDNT CLEAN THE SHOWER JUST RESET THE CODE?!

just as others said, they don't allow sleep past 5 PM, the security knocked my window and asked me to leave ASAP. It isn't a good place to stay overnight.

The diesel pumps are extremely slow. Informed the associates multiple times. No change. Wait time to finish fueling was around 40 minutes.

I parked my cargo van for 40min in the parking lot in front of the building , was doing some errands and stuff, the fact that I'm a loyal customer and have a membership was not helpful at all. Security and management were bugging me all the time, they don't have any signs with parking time limitations. I just don't get it , absolutely not drivers friendly atmosphere and regulations.

Security knocked on our door @ 10 pm saying we have until 5 am to leave. They said the store owners/managers doesn’t want anyone sleeping past 5am. I have been to other pilots with no issues. It’s unfortunate esp when you are a customer buying from them and giving them business.

Appears many reviewers are confused & writing reviews of the wrong store.
As a 20 yr area native I can attest that theres:
-0 fires
-No McDonald's or is part of any nearby travel center.
-Never remodeled
1 reviewer advised to avoid Pilot because he didn't recognize the its brand name.
To Correct You: Pilot isn't just a nationwide travel stop chain, it is the largest in the US. Pilot even OWNS Flying J Travel Stop.
So can't say you're a "Trucker" if you never heard of Pilot.
& if Pilot seemed sketchy (only because you never heard of it) common sense, which lacks nowadays, would've told you to visit any of the other 6 nearby stops!

Although there is no sign indicating no over night parking or even 1 hour or 2 hour parking, some D.H. will knock your parked light truck or cargo van asking you to leave.I don't understand why some Pilot locations acting like that, DOT required to increase the rest areas across the country so professional drivers can sleep without disturbing to be safe on the road

Awesome Experience with the Staff of this gas station here.All the employees are very nice especially Mario.He is a very gentle person and also very very helpful, it is really appreciated man, keep doing great.Shower was also nice and clean.Thank you so much for the services.

I am absolutely infuriated. I just pulled over around 4:45 AM after having been on the road for close to 23 hours. I drive for a living, but I am not a CDL driver. I guess because I am not CDL they seem to think that I don’t need rest? I had enough time to run in and use the restroom, get my car situated so that I could lay down, and start eating my first meal all day. 5:00 AM there is a knock on my window from security. Apparently everyone who is sleeping in the front parking lot has to clear out, per manager’s orders. Even though he acknowledged I just got there. I had to move all my stuff so that I could get in the driver seat, and go down the road to Petro. Don’t waste your time even stopping at Pilot, just skip it and go straight to Petro. Pilot obviously does not care about their customers. I am on the verge of passing out from exhaustion, and rather than letting me rest in the parking lot I was told to go elsewhere. This is a truckstop. Even though I’m not CDL I, do still need someplace safe to rest with a clean restroom. I thought that pilot/flying J was a good place for that, but if this is how they treat people I will go out of my way to go to Petro, Love’s (my personal favorite), TA, etc. They are NOT the only option so for them to act like people don’t have other choices is ridiculous. I don’t know if this issue/ “rule” is location specific? I have NEVER had a problem any place I’ve tried to stop and rest with being kicked out of the parking lot. Maybe this manager just is on it their high horse or has a stick up their rear or something. I don’t know. Beyond disappointing to say the least.
