Petco’s policy of not accepting returns or exchanges for defective items without an account or receipt is frustrating and unacceptable. Every store that I’ve shopped at in the last decade has been able to use a credit card to track a return.
I purchased a water fountain for my cat prior to a trip and returned to find the pump struggling to function after only 5 days of use with adequate water in the reservoir.
This will be the last time I shop with Petco. Brick and mortar convenience is not worth such antiquated policies.

The PetCo time forgot. That place was terrible, dark, dingy overstocked, and the employee that was there was like did everybody else hate this guy or girl or whatever and just push them out and put them at that location because you know no one‘s gonna see them. I went to the pool supply store so I stopped in and I bought something and I wish I would’ve gone down the street.

we were greeted immediately upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and helpful, all of them were super nice, we took my cat for vaccination shots and it was a very quick and easy process. They explained every procedure and answered any questions we had. 10/10!!!

My dog Murphy needed a dental procedure done with extractions and he was taken care of from start to finish! The communication & updates were appreciated (even with my crazy schedule when I couldn't reply)Special shout out to Dr. Ramirez, Lyza , John & Marlayna!

I spent a wonderful time enjoying the store, picked out my pet food then had all of that crashing down. Why was your check out lady so so rude! Young female, tattoos showing along with her purple hair! You should get a secret shopper and you'll see.

On entering this Petco I watched the 3 employees huddled around the sole cash register, laughing and talking. They remained there as I wandered to the back of this tiny store..I needed supplies for setting up our new parakeet cage-baby birds were in their cage at home waiting for food, water dishes, etc.However, there is *nothing at this location On San Pedro Ave. for any type of birds, nor for fish, reptiles, turtles, etc.This particular store caters only to dogs & cats, an rnormous assortment of foods and supplies. Yet. Not a full-service Petco, a real disappointment.I believe this 1 location should advertise they sell only cat and dog fur-baby supplies.
