I used to have so much praise for Penny Paws until my last experience when my pet was not treated with dignity and neither was I. The tech walked up to us while we stood in line then started vaccinating my nervous little dog. She accidentally poked me with the vaccine and I ended up feeling ill.

Twice in the last month, I've had to take my Chihuahua into the office. She didn't have an appointment either time. They squeezed us in both times! They're always very friendly and empathetic to our situation and work with us to provide the care our baby needs. I will never take our baby to anyone else!!!!! I'm so grateful Penny Paws has a permanent location close to home!

So happy I found a good vet down here for Jackson! ? Couldn't be happier, very reasonable prices and they did an excellent job removing his growths. Phenomenal stitch work, healed up so nicely, can hardly tell anything was done. Was a little worried his eyelid wouldn't heal up nicely and function normally being a very thin and delicate/sensitive area, but it did. Had the stitches removed and can hardly tell. Thank you Dr. Miller and PennyPaws Animal Clinic San Antonio, TX! ☺️? Mobile vaccination clinic is also very reasonable and better than anything in the area. Highly recommended! ?

Very convenient for vaccines and staff are friendly. But the microchip (Petlink) they offer costs $40, unless they're having a special. The registration is to be done online by the owner. And online is where I found out I also must pay $20 annually or $45 for lifetime registration! I used Free Pet Chip Registry instead. Totally free. FYI: San Antonio Animal Care Services offers free microchipping with free lifetime registry included.

These guys are great! Been using their mobile vaccination sites for years and visited their new office in San Antonio. Very nice and professional people that seem to have a genuine love for and passion for taking care of animals. I highly recommend these guys.

I’ve been a Penny Paws mobile clinic client for several years because they pop up in very convenient locations every weekend. I decided to make the switch from my previous vet clinic to Penny Paws brick and mortar. From the first telephone call with Samantha, I knew my little old lady dog, Trixie, would be in good hands. Today we met our vet tech, Piper, and Dr. Miller. You can just feel the love as soon as you walk into the clinic. The waiting area was immaculate with plenty of seating, which I was literally only “waiting” for a minute. They also have a nicely stocked area with pet food. The exam rooms were also immaculate and well lit with a nice homey feel. Vibrant art work of pets adorn the walls. Trixie’s medications were filled on site which was super convenient and much appreciated. I am so glad I switched to Dr. Miller at Penny Paws.

We visited today the location at Dogtopia in Alamo Ranch and were pleasantly impressed! We didn’t have an appointment, however one was created on the spot and we got tended in timely manner!
The vaccines are affordable and so is the prevention, and there is no office visit charge!
My mom was able to get heartworm, flea and tick prevention all at once including our dog’s vaccines and heart disease test.
The team was great, the doctor was so sweet and patient with our shy girl and Anna was extremely knowledgeable and helpful at checkout process! We will definitely return and recommend you to my friends and family!

We were treated with love and kindness. You could tell this wasn't just a job to them. Our Shepard Husky mix gave kisses while receiving her injections. Thanks Penny Paws.
