I called the Alamo Ranch Branch today to get information on a new auto loan and had a great customer service experience. Mike was very knowledgeable and professional. He provided me with the current auto loan rates and took the time to explain the requirements needed for us to apply for the loan as well as some of the options we have when it comes to buying a car. I did not feel rushed at all during our conversation, mind you I called close to closing hours. I will be opening up an account with them soon and hopefully getting a new auto loan as well.

Very helpful employee, however not a very friendly atmosphere. No one greeted us upon entering or offered to help us. We were glanced upon and the employees continued helping their clients. Most places will at the very least acknowledge you and advise you that they will be with you shortly.

I made a deposit six days ago. The funds are still pending release. It's past the five business day waiting period. I spoke with the **** at Alamo Ranch and was informed to just wait the five business days. Well, tomorrow, it will be a week's worth of wait. Is this common Penfed practice? Can anyone share a similar experience with Penfed?

We had numerous problems using the 1-800# for customer service, from issues with online access and also high usage alert for the debit card. Unfortunatley i was unable to fix the issues using their 1-800 #. I needed to pay a bill that required the high usage alert to be removed for the day, it was not able to be done with a phone call. We had to go across town to visit the branch. The teller at the Alamo Ranch Financial Center was able to help me with my payment / certified check and Walter Warren Assistant Manager helped with my online issue in less than 30 mins. These are amazing employees much better than your 1-800 customer reps.

It was ok experience. Teller had no ones in his till. Then when he gave me my withdrawal, he didn't even give me an envelope which I had a lot of 100s. I had to ask for one and I didn't have a purse. Maybe he was new

Couldn't be happier with PenFed right now, not only did they offer great rates on an auto loan but they made the entire process a walk in the park! Walter Warren did an amazing job taking care of me, he helped ease my concerns and answered all my questions, and trust me I had many. He was super personable and made the entire process such a breeze, specially considering I walked in 10mins before they closed. I initially only went in to make some changes to my draft application, but I actually ended up walking out with a printed check! I am not encouraging to walk-in right before they close, but if you do, trust they'll do a great job taking care of you.Thank you again Walter & PenFed!

When I first opened my membership 6 months ago I should have known this was not the Credit Union for me. I decided to move forward and open accounts anyway. You are treated as a number and NOT like an individual. Regardless of your high credit score you are put in the same group as those with low credit scores. They make decisions like robots instead of humans and taking in an individuals facts and excellent credit. I communicated with Management and even the CEO's Office with no positive resolution. Therefore, I decided to CLOSE all accounts and do my financial business that treats me like a person and recognizes my excellent credit history.
