Great staff, it can be hard to get out of the parking lot if you're going towards Wetmore Road.Brennen was fabulous 1/10/2024 he replaced my light bulbs.

I usually have a really good experience at this location. But not yesterday. I went to get a part yesterday and it looked like none of the staff I was familiar with was there. Maybe that was the problem. I had called earlier in the day to make sure they had the part I needed. The person I spoke to said they had 3 different ones I could choose from. I asked it they would install it for me. I was told they could do that for me. I made sure to say it was an involved, tricky installation even though it was a very small part. I was assured it could be done and I was given a name to ask for. When I got there the person I had spoken to was at lunch. Marco who was "helping" me was on the phone and said he'd help me when he got off the phone. (Strike # 1) Two other people were there in store uniforms, but they were walking around the store not doing much. I was the only person in the store so I don't know what they were doing but they didn't attempt to greet me or help me while Marco was on the phone. Once he was off the phone, Marco asked what I needed. He showed me the parts and I chose the one I wanted and he rang up the sale. He said "Thanks and have a good day." I asked him about the installation and he said "I can help you later if you wait-the customers come first." Did I not count since I had already paid for it? When did I drop from being a customer, and what about the other people in the store uniforms-were they not going to help anyone? I worked in retail for a very long time and that's not what you do. If your customer still needs something you stick with them until you're done, or you ask if they mind if you help the next person. So, Marco says let me help them and then I'll check and see if you've waited and then I'll help you. So I waited, and all the cars left the parking lot and I was the only one there. (Strike #2) I gave him five more minutes and then I went inside. He was at the counter and he said "Hi" when I walked in, then "Oh, I'll be right outside." In other words either he forgot, or he never intended to come outside at all. He came outside, looked at where the part was supposed to go ( it was a replacement bulb for a headlight) and said, "we can't do this." When I asked if the person on the phone had been mistaken he said that person might have agreed but he couldn't do it and gave me a few excuses as to why he couldn't. (Strike #3) I'll say I'm a female and I felt he was speaking to me like I was an unknowledgeable female who knows nothing about cars-which is untrue. I also felt he didn't want to assist me anymore once he did the sale-which was annoying and very unprofessional. It got to the point where I didn't get to finish my sentences as he'd cut me off mid-sentence to say whatever he wanted to say which at this point were all lame excuses. I might go back to this store since it's right near my location, but it will be a long time until I do and if I see "Marco" there I'll abruptly turn around and leave. Someone get him some customer service training!

Was looking for a battery for my hyundai, they didnt have it and went out of their way to find a store that did. They went the extra mile to put eyes on the part before sending me there.

I went to Alamo Toyota to get some touch up paint for my 2019 Toyota Camry on the way to the dent shop. Alamo Toyota was out and not a single dealership in San Antonio had the touch up paint. DOH! They were kind enough to search the computer and nothing, but he said that if I went to O'Reilly and provided the paint code, they would have it. NO WAY! So off to O'Reilly and this location was between Alamo and the dent shop. I pulled in and Carlos greets me from the back and he comes over to assist. I ask him for touch up paint and he looks it up in the computer and we both confirm the code and name of paint. Carlos got my touch up paint and I was off in less than 5 minutes. Carlos was so nice and we were laughing about the drama of touch up paint. He was super helpful and will come back to this location because of Carlos great customer service. But I will say YIKES price of touch up paint has gone up. With tax, it cost me $25. But I have touch up paint now.

The employees are great, they are super helpful and knowledgeable & not afraid to let you know if they don't know the answer to your question. They're willing to do some research to find the correct answer and actually call & let you know what they found out.
