I was invited by a friend (member of OTF) to try a FREE trial class. Instructed to sign up for a specific class online, overall due to unpredictable circumstances, I couldn't make it to the class. I was charged $28 when I called, Laura answered she came off really annoyed, very unsympathetic, and sounds like she dislikes her job. She refuses to refund the charge unless I try a class but her lack of customer service skills and the conversation we had made me not ever want to meet her or affiliate myself with Orange Theory in any way. I highly recommend this location hire a more experienced receptionist to answer phone calls and potential client inquiries.

I signed my cancellation while the manager was right next to me watched me while I did so in studio and noticed I was charged for the next following month, I know the thirty day cancellation which was fine but the following month I see the charge on my account again I called and told her she said Isidro the guy working the front said I never turned in the paperwork and he doesn’t work sundays, it SHE WAS RIGHT NEXT TO HIM WHEN I SIGNED IT!! she said she would get back with me but never got a call back. I liked the coaches but the front is very unprofessional as well as they gossip about their customers and staff in first Friday events and if a staff member likes you they’ll get your info from your profile

Terrible management of a business franchise. The manager was incredibly rude and refused to engage in a civil conversation over my plan. Instead, she was rude and condescending. That level of disrespect the trickles down to the staff who provide inconsistent and false information about the gym. If you want to go to orange theory, go to another franchise.

Unorganized and uncommunicative. Coach David and Kasey’s classes are great but I can’t say the same about this locations manager. I've been with orange theory for a while now and never had any issues. This is why I sought out the closest to me upon my move to San Antonio. Since I knew I would be having a medical procedure, I thought to start off with a the basic membership, but I was told that I would be getting my first month at 50% off, so I said why not. After my first month, I placed my account on hold for a few months while I recovered and asked to return to basic membership upon return. A front desk staff member asked me to sign another form and mentioned that my account would be “annotated”. A few months later I notice that I am still getting charged as a Premier membership and get told they cannot find the form on file. I spoke to a front desk person at least 4 times on different occasions and finally, I was told that my account would return to the Basic membership and I would be refunded the difference for the past few months that I overpaid. Today, I spoke to the manager who told me this was incorrect and that she was not aware of this happening. What bothers me is that she did not even give me a chance to explain the situation and I just felt dismissed. I was lied to and I am very disappointed. I've canceled my membership.

Overcharging, unorganized, slow to refund. Coach Daniel is amazing and he gets a solid five stars from me. I can’t say the same about the front desk staff. As much as I love the workouts here, this particular studio was the worst one I’ve dealt with when canceling. They so conveniently filed my cancellation form after my bill date (which was over a week after I had signed the form) and ended up charging me two more times instead of once. It took three week to finally see my refund after calling multiple times and speaking to different people. I had to go in person to actually get my point across to them. The manager was quick to pass the blame onto poor Bella as to why I didn’t receive my refund when the manager was the one who told me directly that she would process my refund but never did. I cancel and rejoin OTF multiple times a year but next time I will join at the Sonterra location. Scam artists run the Bitters location and it left me with a very sour taste.

If you are looking to lose weight or tone Orange Theory is definitely the place to try. The very first day I felt the burn and left with confidence that I will lose weight and tone.The trainers and staff members are all simply amazing. It's feels like one big family.So glad I made the best decision to start the year with Orange Theory.

Head Coach Daniel Gatewood is a rock star. Extremely knowledgable on the rower. He meets you where you are at and challenges you to be better. The commitment to his members is outstanding and he makes every moment personal and optimistic. OTF is an integrated ecosystem that monitors your heart rate, steps, intensities, and calories for every second during an workout. See you on the Orange Theory flat road

Love OrangeTheory fitness and this location at Bitters. I despise exercise and have always avoided it when possible. This is the first workout that I look forward to going. It is that much fun!

The staff at Orangetheory fitness are friendly and knowledgeable. Time flies in the class because the coach keeps it interesting and also I feel comfortable going at my own pace.

I am changing my 5 star review to a 1 star review. The front desk customer service is the worst ever and I am not continuing to pay for a high dollar membership by receiving poor professionalism. I will be canceling my membership soon.

UDATED TOWARDS BOTTOM:The gym Is great however the customer service with the manager is horrible. I had to cancel my membership, and was assured By Manager Simon that I was indeed canceled. 2 months later I was charged $150.00 when I reached out to Simon he assured me again that I was fully canceled and that he would work on my refund. Weeks have gone by I have not received a refund and now Simon the manager refuses to respond to me. This is extremely unprofessional and would advise anyone that puts any card information with them to alert your bank about the fraud this location is doing.Update.Since my post, Simon finally reached out to let me know he will be processing last Friday, and today April 30,2021 I reach out to see exacly how long it will take to process refund like said would happen per protocol. He responds with " Im no longer with orange theory good luck. " and has left this unresolved. I'd recommend going to different location with better customer service

I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this location. I have been contacting the Bitters location for 6 MONTHS trying to cancel my membership.After signing all cancellation paperwork in April 2021, they have still continued to charge me. I called in June 2021 asking AGAIN for my membership to be canceled and for all false charges to be refunded, and they told me they received my cancellation paperwork but just never canceled it in their system??? The studio manager at that time assured me it would be canceled that day and issued me a refund, but now here we are in August 2021 and they have STILL been charging me each month. I called them this morning asking AGAIN to stop charging me and they said AGAIN that they received my cancellation paperwork back in April, but that they STILL never processed it in the system.When I asked for a refund of all false charges from the past few months, they told me that since they do not currently have a studio manager, they have no way to refund me/no timeline on when it will be issued…I understand a mistake one time, but for this to continue for 6 months after I have repeatedly called them is absolutely unacceptable.
