O'Connor Road Animal Hospital has been taking care of our two, then three, then four babies since 2019.
They have always balanced compassion and caring with practically of costs. We just lost one of our babies and they were so sweet and kind.
We will continue to bring our animals here as long as we are in San Antonio

First time we’ve had to search for an animal hospital , the woman over the phone had great service and they where able to squeeze us in today. Great service , upfront prices and honest.
Highly will be returning , thanks for everything and seeing Dulce.

My puppy has blood in his stool, and they handled everything great. I called around to other vets before coming to ask if I could just walk in, or if I need appointment. Like different 8 vets I called couldn't take us in and didn't give us any time or compassion towards the situation. Till I call this vet here. The person I spoke too squeezed us in with in an hour and was compassionate towards the situation. When we arrived they were professional and speedy! Great experience and will be coming back if ever needed!

Staff was amazing, very little wait time during walk in hours, waiting room and office areas are clean and uncluttered. There are wipes available in case your pet has an accident. Front desk associates are very kind and helpful as well as the vet tech and vet. Overall a great experience.

Have always had very good experiences with this Veterinarian. Everyone in the office are always nice & welcoming. Dr. Schmeltzer is very good & caring with my doxie.

Everyone was friendly and accommodating. As a walk-in, I didn’t have to wait long at all. Dr. Marin was awesome! She was informative and spoke with me in a way that put me at ease. Greatly appreciate the entire team’s support! Highly recommend ⭐️

O’Connor Road Animal Hospital has been taking care of both of my pets for 14 years. I am extremely thankful for the amazing service received. The care one of my pet’s received during the emergency surgery to remove bladder stones was extraordinary. Katarina went above and beyond to schedule everything and was very compassionate with me during the surgery. Doctor Schmeltzer, my pet’s vet was not there at the time but Doctor Graham took care of my 12 year old shitzu incredibly well. All day during the surgery, I was called with updates and everyone were very attentive at all times. Brittney, the technician and Katarina were very involved and I will ll be forever thankful for the most caring support I received on that day. The girls in the front office, Starr and Cameron were also very kind and helpful. I recently took my other pet to get treated for an ear infection and was seen by doctor Marin who was as good as the other vets. Thank you Doctor Schmeltzer for the amazing care Armani and Chanel have received all these 14 years and thanks to Doctor Graham for the dedication and wonderful results of the surgery. Both of my pets are doing great thanks to this team of amazing people. I highly recommend this hospital to everyone because your pets will get excellent care at all times.

I've been taking my boys (dogs) there for over 2 years I love this vet and I love how they take care of my boy (dogs) from the doctor to the tech down to the front desk are great thank you all for making us feel like family..

I absolutely love this vet office. They are always very helpful and understanding. The doctors are knowledgeable and aren’t pushy about any treatment it recommendations they have. I will never take my animals anywhere else.

Always a pleasant visit with any of the vets in this office! It's easy to make appointments and it's never a long wait to get an appointment. They will break down all charges for you before proceeding so there are no surprises when it comes time to pay
