Campus and professors are amazing however a specific lady in the advising floor right as you enter needs to learn how to speak to people properly. She was so rude and unprofessional. Why does she work to help students if she is so unwelcoming and seems like she rather not be of assistance.

They literally tried to steal 30 dollars from me while I was signing up for the entrance exam, and they refused to take responsibly. Without getting into a more flagrant descriptions of this college, I would personally not recommend attending NWV, just based on how dumb and inexperienced the administration is. If you have no choice other than to go to NWV, I would suggest trying anywhere else. Online, on the moon, the streets of Dallas. Anywhere is better than NWV.

I would write an extensive review again but the campus or Google keeps deleting it. Thomas Taylor needs to be held accountable for his actions. Haven't received an update from his past harassment.

Overall did not enjoy my time at Northwest Vista College, or interacting with Alamo Colleges in general. I don't recommend taking classes here if you work full time or part time, and want to take online classes. Their website in incorrect or missing information in multiple places (e.g. the Residency Info page has instructions to find if you're in-district or not, but they are not updated). I was charged out-of-district tuition even though I live 4 minutes from campus. I called the Business Office 2-4 times and was placed on 8+ minute holds and no one ever picked up. The professor failed to allow students to take the final exam due to a technical error, and takes 2 days to respond to emails.

It has been an amazing experience taking classes at NVC. Most of my teachers are awesome... nothing is perfect in life, but we have to learn to handle situation and focus on your studies... I have learned discipline and I have found the way to do and study my classes. I want to thank all people, stuff, teachers, friends to support me to continue my studies... I Love NVC!!!

The worst school Ever!!! Professor harass their student here. I have been called out many times for knowing another student, just cause the Professor didn’t like the student. One Professor, Thomas Taylor has called out my personal life in front of the whole class. I have witnessed even professors making racist remarks to other student. Try to report the professors but staff will not help!!!!

I received an awful service from the library. I called and was answered the first time, but I was given the wrong mailing address to return my book and the male employer there was trying to rush my speech. Then since he didn't really assisted me in much, I attempted calling at least 10 more times and he just didn't answer. I can't believe that these kind of people are in charge of a whole library when they don't even know the mailing address.

Called advisors for advising and the tell me to go online and look for schools. Great advice. I ask for a superior and get transferred to Doreen Abrams to get her voicemail after it was clearly relayed to her that I requested to speak to a real advisor. This is the type of guidance you get from people that want you to trust them with your career and future?

My daughter goes to school here. She likes the teachers and the campus a lot. Tuition was not too expensive. It is easy to get in and out of. It is also very easy to get lost driving on campus, especially at night. I can't see the signs unless I am right up next to them. I feel they should have their signs lit up and/or make the lettering bigger.

100% the WORST school that I have ever attended in my life. Now that all of the staff works remotely, it’s even worse! Lazy, lazy, LAZY people! First, they put an incorrect grade on my official transcript! I contacted MULTIPLE times over weeks to no avail. The staff is so disgustingly lazy and will avoid doing any ounce of work unless you literally pester them to get it done. Secondly, I found out that they stole my FAFSA grant! Keep an eye on your grants! No one in Alamo Colleges truly cares about the students. They are just looking for new ways to take your money and not give you anything back in return. The staff has absolutely zero communication skills. It is so frustrating attending a school run by idiots.
