me and my mom brought our 4yr old dog here because she was bloated for 2 weeks, they check her up and what not, told us she has heart worms or a tumor then tells us the bill so my then my mom buys what she needs to help our precious baby girl which is a couple hundreds we then leave her there to get liposuction and get all the excess liquids out. We went at 11am and had to pick her back up at 3pm we get her she’s looking a bit better and skinnier we thank the vet or wtv then we drive home not even 35 min later we were going to walk her with the mom dog and she pees, lays down and has a stroke then passes away and it’s recorded from the backyard camera. We went back with our dead dog to see if we could get a crematory and one of the smart aliks said “we didn’t kill your dog“. thanks vet for the bills.

Not sure if changed mgmt or owners but after switching to this vet few yrs ago and highly recommending them regretfully I have to change that. 2 days ago They dx my 11 yr old cat with a Urinary blockage, always fatal, presented me with an extravagant 2200 estimate and REFUSED to treat our cat unless I paid them all of the 2200 up front and refused to work with me, asked to put down reasonable down payment so they could at least drain it to prevent his death until the next day, altho they repeatedly told us his bladder was at risk of bursting any min and would kill him!? What legit Veterinarian would do that!? I had never had this uncompassionate, inhumane money over life svc from them and iv taken 3 of my animals to them and had given them 5 stars but must update to 1 star for them turning into one of WORST Vets...We took the cat elsewhere and not only recvd a 500 dollar less estimate they were floored NSAH did not drain the bladder that new Dr did in 5 min to prevent his sure death...IF U LOVE UR FURBBY STAY CLEAR OF HERE..PLEASE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT UR MONEY! ?

Took my dog here for vaccines. Loved the choice of going in, or waiting in the car. They took really good care of him. Helped with any questions we had.

This clinic and it’s staff is AMAZING! They fit me in an appt right away for my pups concern, and from the moment Cesar welcomed us he was not only inviting but also knowledgeable and sharp with his questions to not waste any time. The vet saw us right away and expedited everything rapidly. This is the ONLY vet clinic I’ll visit. Thank you Cesar and the staff at NSAH for being the best!

Took two kitties here the other day and my Vet tech Julio really went above and beyond for us.! He even cleaned out the carrier after the kitties had an accident in it. Would definitely recommend this place and ask for Julio as your vet tech :)

I can’t thank them enough. The staff was wonderful and kind and it was absolutely affordable. They did not try to overcharge or add anything. I took my puppy in because she started wheezing yesterday evening and they were able to confirm everything was okay and ease my mind. I was out in less than 30 minutes and felt much calmer. Thank you so much!

I always have a great experience with the doctors and staff at this hospital. They are all very polite, great bed manners, professionals and the seem to care a lot about my fur babies. I highly recommend this veterinarian hospital.

I just called them for a price check on a ultrasound. The reception is wanted me to come in instead of telling me the price which I think is a waste of time,and a waste of money, because they charge for a consultation.i don't need that, to see if I could afford it or not, then she said it was no one else to talk to but her,there is no managers no supervisors ,straight bad communication,,why keep this price a secret??

The staff was accommodating even though I was a few minutes late. They did not make me wait long at all. Everyone from the receptionist who scheduled the appointment to the veterinarian to the vet's assistant, Cesar, was polite, professional, kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. This was my first time bringing my cat and I will definitely keep another appointment this week for my other cat. North Star Animal Hospital provides excellent services at a reasonable price. I truly believe they care for the animals and people that they serve.
