Just opened an account at this location came today to make a deposit.. the lady at the front was helpful but when I went to the counter to cahs my check they gentleman tells me is this even a real check I haven't heard of this place before I told him probably not it's a check from my 401k. At that time I was upset. I took my check back to my old bank and made a deposit. Customer service here is not well especially for a new customer like myself

Just opened membership and was told to stop by pick up a check for my vehicle purchase and took almost 45min. I stopped by around noon on a Friday. Think they need to set better expectations.

I love Navy Fed! I’ve never had a problem with anything. When my husband died my father told me to take everything out of his bank account and I did without question. Turns out, you’re not supposed to do that. Thanks Dad! Anyways Navy Fed caught the error and I was newly widowed and $3,000 in the hole but they loaned me the money for 2 years basically interest free. There’s been about 3 other crazy situations they helped me with in the 15 years I’ve been a member. I never had a problem at any branch. I love this bank.

The customer service at this bank is always poor. Today we were unfortunate to have Omar assist us with our transaction. Made us feel like we were bothering him with our deposit.

I have been an NFCU 'member' three times, the first being 1984.
I don't remember why I dropped them at that time, but I do know why I dropped them the second time and why I am dropping them for the third and final time.
I dropped NFCU the second time due to their policy of holding my deposits for up to two business days, including cash deposits made inside their facility with a live person.
Yesterday, I checked my NFCU account and saw that my direct deposit was showing as 'pending'.
I called and was told that yes, according to NFCU policy, my direct deposit was being held until the next business day.
I have had accounts receiving direct deposit(s) with several financial institutions over the years and have been able to access my funds as soon as they show within that institution's system. Usually up to two business days in advance of the calendar date of deposit.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the benefit of a multibillion dollar corporation holding my money in their system without me having access.
Immediately after my call, I changed my direct deposit back to the bank where it was before I tried to give NFCU another chance.
Once my direct deposits start going back to my other bank, I will never deal with NFCU again.
***As far as NFCU's response, good luck with that.

Horrible bank , they hold your money till they hitting you woth extra charges , they have been holding my zelle transaction for now 6 days , i keep calling and the custumer services really rude saying is normal the bank is zelle , i calles zelled and they show me the transfer have been done Days ago is my bank that is not relising the money , thanks navy federal for ruin our Christmas!!

The service provided by Amanda was great! Very nice employee. Helped my sister open an account as a new member! I joined NFCU this year & have the Active Duty Checking & I'm very happy with the account! Thank you!

Extremely helpful staff, made it 5 minutes before close due to school and rush hour traffic, barely making it on time. Staff helped me immediately and were quick and efficient. Extremely grateful for all your help!

I have been a member with Navy Fed since 2019 , they just closed my account with my money inside . I am a college student who need to pay for her college dorm housing application. This is very disgusting and I ashamed that I even signed up for this bank.

I was turned away, despite only needing a direct deposit form filled out, because they had closed like 2 mins before I'd gotten there. Completely unreasonable and unjustifiable, I've had nothing but accessibility issues since I swapped to this joke of a credit union and have lost just about ANY faith in it whatsoever.
