He has also helped me with old coins I was given n knew nothing about. I recommend so many ppl to the store! I decided to sell us minted 1 oz 'walking Liberty coin over a week ago. I called and stopped by quite a few gold dealers. I was surprised how many said they would have to see the coin to determine how much it was worth.I was pleased today when several gold dealers told actually told me what percentage of the spot market they would pay. Sam offered the best price so I called him back and told him I was on my waI made courtesy calls to the other vendorslp you All the other vendors tried to get me to reveal the winning bidder and their price. One vendor increased their price but steel fell short.Getting the best price was nice. England better than the price was the professional manner in which Nacogdoches dealt with me as a customerIt was really refreshing to find a gold dealer that wasn't trying to play any games and who did everything in plain sight. I can honestly say this is the first time I've sold gold without aLMm suspicious or feeling I was being cheate5y6. Thank you Sam!!!

Make sure every piece you try to sell makes it onto the scale. Depending on the amount you are trying to sell, your heaviest one or two pieces will not make it onto the scale, but they do end up in the already weighed pile. You will be robbed of them. It is the same sleight of hand robbing as 3 card Monte. It happens right in front of your face.

I had some silver coins and decided to call Nacogdoches Gold & Silver exchange. I spoke to the owner who quoted me a price of $21.15 for silver. So I gathered my coins and went to visit the store.First thing that is strange is that the place is somewhat dark. Secondly, there is a chute that you put your items in behind a plastic wall.. I highly recommend ONLY one item at a time goes in the chute so you can keep track of your items. Thirdly, the counting coin machine is in the back of the shop. I Recommend you know your count beforehand. It was interesting when the owner asked me if I knew the count while he was at the coin machine.Well after counting, etc, the owner was going on about weighing and why weighing is wrong. This is an irrelevant distraction. I finally was given a price of $15 per silver dollar which is far less than what I was expecting.I went to two other coin stores and got a quote closer to $21.15 per silver dollar which was fair as that was the price of silver at the time. My disappointment of this store cannot be expressed enough and there are so many better options in San Antonio.

First bracelet sold to him was fair price to sell . Second one set of 6 silver sold marked mexico . Solid silver . Said was fake covered by silver . Which is a lie . I had another store test them solid silver . You moved the magnet to tell me fake but you didn't realize your key ring was in the way . So want to try me again . But I rather sell it to someone else. If you didn't want it why don't you just say it and then thanks for coming. Your a joke

Quick and easy. I looked up the price of gold 15 minutes before, person at the desk quoted it exactly. Gave me cash for an old ring. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes.
