Brought my dog here the other day for her yearly checkup and rabies shot. My fiance made an appointment for 10 AM. We pulled in a couple of minutes before 10. I took the dog for a walk on the grass while my fiance checked us in. When I went in, they were already calling us into the exam room. This place is good about keeping on schedule. They are very good with the animals that are brought to them. My dog was dropped off at the Humane Society after she had been with the same family all her life. I think this made her nervous about leaving with the vet, but they were very kind to here. While we were there for her checkup, we asked them to trim her nails. Her nails were starting to look like they belonged in Nightmare on Elm Street. The appointment was very quick. To reward our dog for being good, we went to Dutch Brothers and got her a Pup Cup. I recommend this place for how well they stay on schedule and how well they treat the animals

We took our cat in on Friday she has gland issues. We got an appointment with Ann Romero is not a regular doctor here. She was super knowledgeable and understanding and we got to be in room with our cat while she checked her out. We discussed what options would be best for our cat. We also were able to be helped by Aubrey temporarily helping out but is the Assistant Manager. She was fantastic. We have been taking our cat here for a long time. Have never had the opportunity to talk with Aubrey she is outstanding and helped so much. All of the services with these two individuals was amazing. STARS for these 2 individuals was 5+. As far as the front desk there was 3 young ladies, they were talking about customers and while 1 of them answered the phone the others were so loud. 1st impression of the front office was not good. Stars for front desk is definitely a 2 1/2.

A lady called me this morning to notify me that their xray machine was not working and that they can give me $75 discount and still proceed with my dog's dental appointment as scheduled, however of course they could not xray my dogs teeth further to see what's going on. I said it's okay to cancel for tomorrow and reschedule when their x-ray machine is fixed and lady said somebody from St. Francis will be calling back to reschedule. Apparently, this afternoon, I received a text message regarding instructions for tomorrow's dental appointment regarding instructions. Meaning, the appointment tomorrow was not canceled by the lady I spoke with this morning. So I called St. Francis, and asked about this and told her what lady this morning and I talked about. This lady on the phone I talk with around 4: 09 to 4:18 pm was very rude and ugly, like she kept on talking on the phone and repeated to me same information, read documentation put by her coworker and even said she will have her manager call me tomorrow. I told her to cancel tomorrow's visit as I was already notified they dont have an x-ray machine and i do not want to be charged for a no show as I gave them my card info as reservation. This lady this afternoon said she will cancel. But this lady this afternoon, the way she handled situation, the way she talked to me on the phone, her tone of voice and kept talking continously like she hated her coworker's inefficiency, is outrageous! No employee is perfect and errors are inevitable but sure this lady's character and temper was out of this world! This lady needs training! This is not the first time I encountered rude person on the phone with St. Francis, one time was on a weekend and I was just trying to ask if my dogs medicine is ready as I was told it's ready for pick up on Saturday, then I ended up not getting it on time! It's because of the lady's ugliness telling me they're short staffed that's why she hanged up on me and never returned call! Duh! It's not cheap at St. Francis and this is the kind of customer service!?! Epic!

I've been coming here a couple years now and am really glad to have a veterinarian clinic I can trust. Everyone is always so kind to us and our sweet dog Ripley. We've taken her here for her yearly check ups a couple years now and she has always done well at the visits. She can get nervous but I can tell that the staff are very gentle with her because she always comes back from labs or procedures her same happy self. The staff do not push extra procedures on you, they just explain the options. If you tell them your budget up front, they'll work with you to stay under it. The waiting room has coffee for the humans which is nice. The facility is pristinely clean inside and has cleaning products available if needed. There is space outside for dogs to do their business and doggie bags for humans to fulfill their social contract by cleaning up. There are facilities inside for humans to do their business too. Overall a great place with wonderful clinicians and staff.

Selected this Vet because of the ratings they received on Yelp, boy what a joke, the rating doesn't even reflect what they do and perform, it took me awhile from my last visit to calm down so that I am able to verbalize my outrage and confusion of what happened to my loved one. I still find it hard to believe what happened or the explanation given as to why. Recently moved to Texas with my two dogs, they flown over 3000 miles with me to get here, the following week took them in for a check up and schedule a dental cleaning, both given a clean bill of health to proceed. The following week took them in for the procedure, within an hours received a call that one of them didn't make it?, they noticed he started to turn blue and proceeded to revive him, after five minutes they called it, they didn't even start the procedure only gave the anesthesia. Vet explained they did all they could and sometimes it happens.? SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS? What the h@** does that mean. He was given a clean bill of health to proceed the week before. Did something go wrong during the procedure ? Will never know, only what the Vet claims. I can see that his brother is devastated since he no longer has his pal, and still looks around for him. I myself will probably never get over this, lost my car ride buddy, that pull on the leash to tell me let's go over here not there, my sleep buddy always by my side even thru the snoring, he was a true best friend!! I will never forget him, he will always be in my mind and heart. Love you Buddy, rip.

They used to be great, but they are horrible now. They left my wife and I waiting for more than an hour on back to back days. Then they used the same excuse of an emergency procedure. After making my wife wait so long that my cat peed in her travel crate. When she asked someone assist with cleaning her up they took her away and she was brought back by the vet. The vet said she already completed the exam, but proceeded to misgender my cat. All of this might have been forgiven, but they then proceeded to give my attitude without so much as an apology. We had been taking all of our pets there for many years and they were good. I don't know if there has been a bunch of turnover, but I do know we won't be coming back.

I've been coming here for 6 years and have 4 dogs with various health issues. Dr. Bauml was our go to vet however he retired and we started seeing Dr Gabriel Musquiz. He's the best! I can text and ask a question and the staff will respond or have Dr Musquiz call me. Our visits are prompt, pleasant, comfortable for my fur babies and I know they care for my dogs and aren't looking to upsell or suggest care or services that my pups don't need. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. we only see Dr Musquiz, not because of any issues with the other vets, we just have dogs aged 9-13 with various issues that Dr. Musquiz has been taking care of. I wouldn't go to any other vets for my pups care.

Awesome sauce. Except for me attempting to get my cat into a carrier and having to hear her yowl because she hates carriers and driving anywhere. VERY kind and helpful people!

I have one star because ease to use the site. I recently moved back to Texas and I thought I'd schedule with this vet due to ratings. Maybe they do have good doctors, but their "deposit" policy is a poor customer service practice. With the move and other financial impacts of the move, I scheduled the appointment for my payday and today they called to say if I can't do the deposit by the end of the day, my appointment will be cancelled. Irony about having a hospital named after a saint that cared about animals, yet doesn't live the reputation of even working with people. I found another vet with just as good ratings and didn't require a deposit (in fact, 4 other vets didn't require it). If you're looking for a vet to make a good first impression or even work with you, it's probably not this place.

So ticked off!!! We have been coming to them for years!!! We had an appointment today for an urgent issue. We tried for over 30 minutes to get a hold of them to say we would be 10 minutes late. Finally got our old girl in the car and was on our way. Finally got a hold of them and they rescheduled us for tomorrow after we were 5 min late!!! NOW we are on our way to the hospital @$$holes!!! I would give negative if I could. We won't be back!

Staff was very friendly and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The wait for the doctor was a bit lengthy, but worth it in the end. He was very interested and had useful tips as this was an intake/initial visit with our rescue dog Katy. We'll definitely come back.

They are always so friendly. Was curbside service during the pandemic but now its two people allowed per appt. They offer a variety of services and they even included nail trimming. Got a years worth of vaccinations and treatments I know it's gonna be expensive but that's what we do for our furry children
