Don't trust the layaway. You'll be told you're being sold something only to come back to pay off your layaway and find that there are pieces missing. Rude girls, call you to remind you of a payment you already paid on a layaway, not a loan but a layaway that's a sale for this company. You don't have to treat everyone like they want something from you. It's filthy, not just dirty. And the way they treat 1000+ layaway is like wrapping leftovers from dinner.

Poor service. Asked to talk to a manager and Ashley acted like I wasn’t even there. Didn’t acknowledge me. Just whispered into Aaron’s ear right in front of me as if she was invisible. Funny but I still gave the store my business. I’ve managed a big box store before and can say hands down worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Thanks

Outstanding service by Gabby, and Angelica .You can tell when people enjoy their jobs, and by this level of service we obtained while we was radiated the fact that they truly enjoy being with people and helping people buy items at a fair price

Well since money mart sold to cash america and Richard has left. It's not the same at all. The employees aren't happy or laughing. The attitude is different. New management is something else. I guess I'll have to find another place to go. I hate feeling singled out by the Manger. She stops wats she doing to come and mess with my loan. Not a good place like it used to be.

I want to thank the management Richard and employees Ashley, Walter and Angie. These people go the extra mile for you. I have to say the best pawn shop in San antonio. They are always joking and making a friendly atmosphere. Thank you so much for everything yall have done.

I purchased a diamond ring from money mart, and a few months later I lost a diamond and took it back for a repair which I paid for, got it back then a few months later lost another diamond, took it back again I had to pay to have it replaced, got it back again and a couple days later lost another, this time the manager said he would have all the posts checked and redone , I was charged again and thought ok this should be the last and a couple months later another diamond came out, took it back and was told they were sold to another company And there was nothing they could do.

Ashley and Richard gave me awesome customer service if I had a business I would want employees like them working for me, Because of this service I am a repeat customer and will recommend friends to Money Mart Pawn. Thank you for the great service.

Came here to take out a layaway that I originally put in late September and put a $20 down payment. Wasn't able to come on the exact day that it was due, since every time I would show up, it would be closed. I finally got a friendly call to remind me to make a payment, which was awesome of them to do that. I did mention to the associate that I had been trying to make my payment and how it was always closed. So he did tell me that they had been closing early and closed a couple of days due to Covid. He did tell me just to come in and they were open now. Because of my schedule, I did wait another week. Today I called 1st, and asked if my layaway was still available and if they were even open. I mentioned how I didn't want to come all the way over here if they weren't open or if I lost it. The associate told me it was all good still. So sure enough I come and ask to pay off the balance on my item as desired. The associate grabbed the merchandise from the shelf where originally I chose it. I was confused. I would have thought that it would have been in the back. So the associate tells me that I am to pay for the merchandise in full as if I never deposited anything. So I did ask what was going on. She explained that I had lost the layaway and lost the $20 that I had deposited, due to a restocking fee. I explained that I had attempted to come pay for it several times and how they were closed every time. She said that all they could do was give me $10 towards that particular item rather than the full amount that I had paid already. So basically the phone call that I had made and what was said to me was all false. I came across town for bad news, after trying to avoid that. I decided to not do business anymore.. Surely not coming over here for anything. Going to let others know not to neither. Had my eyes on other items as well before going to the counter, but definitely not wanting to get served here anymore.

Literally they deserve zero stars!!!! Tell me why i spoke to a lady and she said they accepted the item i wanted to pawn!!! Then when i pick up my sister and go they tell me they donnnttt!!! Worst thing ever to drive somewhere then get there for no reason!
